Sidharth's POV
We are supposed to have dinner at the kapoor house today which means that kareena and I have to discuss it before our parents meet. I asked her to have lunch with me and Aaditya so that we can come up with the clauses.
"Bro are you sure you are ready for this" Aadi asked me which is not done since he himself suggested it.
"Yes man, do I have any other option"
"Look, I'm just warning you it's just that the girl is really pretty and smart do you think you can manage without feeling attached" I cringed at him.
"You know me man I don't do relationships besides we just had to pretend for a year and we can go back to the way it is." I tried to shake the doubt off him.
When kareena joined us I felt she is somehow stressed about something so I asked her but she just told me that it's none of my business.
She gets on my nerves. Keeping everything aside we both started to plan how things will work.
"I need my private space which means you will not inturpt or ask me questions about the things I do" she stated.
"Ok I will not and that's how it should be from your side too" I replied.
"I need my own bedroom we will only pretend in the presence of our parents and maybe in public" Her next condition.
"Ok I agree I'll provide you your room you will have to accompany me to business meetings and dinners " I told her and she nodded.
"Fair enough, the merger should happen within or after a month of our marriage and i want you to make a prenuptial agreement and I'll sign them." I tried to convince her that we don't need a prenuptial agreement but she insisted.
"You're allowed to live your life however you want and I can live mind and I have a job secured in delhi so I will be moving there"
"Oh it's fine I will be staying in delhi itself I have work there" I replied.
Aadi took notes of all the matters that needed to considered and told me that he will send me the contract in two hours. The three of us left from the restaurant.
I just have to deal with the dinner only.
Kareena's PoV
I have a lot of things to do but my mind is not cooperating which is why after coming back from Lunch I just watched Netflix and chilled.
When phone beeped at 6 p.m. I decided to get ready and went for a shower and taking my dress for the dinner.
When I am done getting ready I made my way downstairs to find my mom and dad setting up the table. I smiled at them and dad joined them.
It is almost eight when doorbell rang and my heart almost started beating ten times faster. This is so forgien to me.
I greeted uncle and aunty. "You look so pretty beta" aunty smiled at my way kissing me on forhead whereas uncle hugged me and I felt loved.
When my eyes fell on sidharth I blushed. He's looking so good in Indian that I can literally pull his cheeks.
We settled down and stared with the the drinks and light conversations. After a hour or so everyone suggested to move towards dinner table when dad started the topic.
"So Malhotra ji I think this is really happening, right beta" he asked directing towards sid who gave a nod to dad when sidharth's mom came and took seat besides me.
"Are you sure about it beta" I felt terrible for lying to her she's nothing but a sweet lady who adore me a lot but I nodded anyway.
"Let's have some sweets than finally I'll be getting my wish fulfilled. you see darling I told you he will not deny her" aunty gestured towards sid's dad when sid blushed a little.
"Yes sure sure why not" my mom asked for sweet and we took a bite.
"So when do you think the wedding can take place beta" sid's dad asked.
"Actually sid has to move to Delhi in two weeks for six months I was thinking that it would be good if we can tie the knot before"
"Isn't it be too soon how will all the preparation take place in such a short span" dad said while burrowing his eyebrows.
"Everything will be managed now I want to take ree home as soon as possible" sid's mom replied while caressing my face.
"So I can visit temple tomorrow and get the priest shortlist dates for the wedding" Mom suggested whereas I felt my hand shake.
"We will call him at our house tomorrow then we can also have lunch together what say Mr kapoor" dad agreed.
Sidharth and I couldn't say anything other than nodding.
When everyone was about to leave sid stopped me and whispered in my ear "we have to sign the contract first so I'll pick you up tomorrow for breakfast" and then left me dazed.
I know I can't deny the fact that the man is hot as hell and when he whispered i felt tingles in my body when his was breath caressed my neck.
No no no you can't think like that ree this is wrong it's just contract marriage nothing else. You can't feel anything.
He left and I chatted for some time with Sam and Anji and fell asleep.
