It was home time. The classroom was full of students chattering and playing around. In other words it was a total chaos. But in the middle of all this chaos, Arora was busy working out the sums Ms.Grace , her math teacher had given them and she wanted to complete it as soon as possible so that she could start preparing for the upcoming test. Well, what else can you expect from a girl who gets straight A's in all the exams.

Arora had a deep brown shade hair of shoulder length and had side fringes. Her mom and dad were from Russia and America respectively which gave her a pale white complexion. She was around 5'5 and had a physic of a dancer as she herself was skilled in free style dance. Overall she looked cute. Her jade coloured eyes made her look even more cuter.

Finally the bell rang, indicating that the students were free from this hell hole called school. Arora packed her bags and left the classroom to meet up with Minji and Mason, her best friends since kinder garden. The three of them were inseperable.

Minji was in the art room completing her project which was supposed to be submitted the next day. Minji had olive skin tone which she inherited from her father. She had dirty blonde hair of mid-length and was similar to Arora's height. Minji had brown eyes which complimented her dirty blonde hair.

Arora walked through the hallways which led to the art room when she saw him. Jason. Her crush. Jason was a guy who was supposedly tall and had silky blond hair and pale blue eyes which could seek anyone's attention. He also happened to be the captain of the school's soccer team.

Arora had never crushed on anyone else. He was her first crush. She had been crushing on him since 9th grade. He also happened to be Minji's elder brother. Well typical right? A girl crushing on her friend's brother.

Jason was in his senior year now which meant there wasn't much possibility of running into each other.

Jason glanced at her ,shot her a smile, waved at her and walked past with his friends. She waved back at him, giving a slight awkward smile and  rushed towards the art room.

Finally Arora reached the art room and peeked her head inside to find Minji collecting up her art supplies. Minji looked up and found Arora waiting for her. "hey Ms.geek!", Arora looked at her with a bored expression, "not funny Minji." Minji just laughed, "what? It is true that you always get straight A's in all the exams so why not call you that." They both just continued bickering like this till they reached home. They were neighbours which made them even more close.

"So... did you see your beloved crush slash my brother today?" Minji asked with a teasing glint in her eyes. Arora just rolled her eyes, "Ya, ya I saw him today in the hallway. He just smiled and waved at me".

"Oh come on, Arora you have to make at least some progress or you are going to just stare at him from a distance your entire life!" Minji exclaimed.

"Oh shut up, I did make progress. See I even waved and smiled at him today. Isn't that progress?" complained Arora.

"Well it will be considered as a progress if that's not the only thing you have been doing for months now!" retorted Minji.

By the time they were done talking, they had already reached Arora's house. Arora's mom and dad were out of town working. They were returning on Friday.

Arora had a really great relationship with her parents. But due to work they went out of town at least once a month and the trip would last for minimum 2 days. But Minji was always there to give her some company.

After convincing Arora for what seemed like hours, Minji finally made her watch Netflix. Both of them surfed through Netflix till late evening, when Minji decided that she should return home now. She walked Minji till the door, waved goodbye and went to her room so that she could complete the homework and assignments she was given today. By the time she was done with all the work, the time was around 9:30pm. She ate a simple dinner, washed up and went to bed by 10:45pm.
