The Soccer Dream

chapter one

"Won't we get into trouble for this?" I asked my best friend Ca'De Exstrom. We usually just write it as kd. She has long brown hair and eyes that light up when you meant ion Doctor Who.

"I don't know. We can if you want, or we could blame it all on you." Kd said with a smirk.

"Shut up you two!" Lydia my other best friend hissed at us. She had even longer brown hair and her eyes looked like reptile skin. We

were currently breaking into our school to get to our English teacher Ms Kurr's room. There was a huge test tomorrow and none of us felt like studying. Most of her tests are either all A,B,C, or D. She always makes it so the answer on the whole test is C or, you understand.

Lydia took her lunch card and slid it between the door and the door way. She popped open the door and carefully opened it.

"Alright," she said after making sure no one was here. "All's good. Let's get this done."

We walked until we made it to her room. Lydia did her lock magic and opened the door.before we came here we made a deal. Lydia would get the test answers, Kd would stand guard back at the corner by the lockers, and I would stand in front of the English room.

4 minutes later Lydia walked out with a sticky note in hand.

"Tomorrow is a D day, my friends." She said with a proud smirk. She closed the doors back up and we walked down the hallway. When we got there Kd was no where in sight.

"Girls." A manly voice said. It was Ray a kid from our school. Behind him was Caleb Yokum , a great soccer player and Zach Hall a kid who was actually pretty funny.

"Hey Ray," I said. I turned around still searching for kd. "Were the hell is Kd?"

"Oh kd is over there talking to Sam Layburger." Zach said. Sam was her ex boyfriend.

"So Lydia," Caleb said trying to act cool. "Wanna save us some time an tell us what the answers are for tomorrow?"

"What makes you think I know?" She told him and quirked her eyebrow.

"Why else would you be in the school after hours , you can barely stand being here during school." Ray said . He was right Lydia hated showing up but she didn't want to become like her sister.

"Its a D day tomorrow guys." I said with a small smile. My eyes connected with Calebs and I looked away, probably blushing like a maniac. In the 8th grade I had a crush on him, I mean who wouldn't he's really cute. Brown hair light green eyes and again an amazing soccer player.

"Thanks Haylie, at least someone has a good heart and is willing to help others in need." Zach said and put his hand over his heart to act like he was hurt. They all gave Lydia a pointed glare. She just shrugged and said oh well.

"Guys," Kd said running around the corner that connects the elementary to the high school. "The janitors coming!" She said and ran past us. All six of us shared a quick look and took off. For some reason Caleb ended up running next to me.

"Everyone split up," Lydia said as we heard the janitor screaming behind us. "Haylie and Yokum go twords the guys locker room , Zach and Ray go to the gym doors, I'll distract her." She slowed down and acted like she has out of breath. When the janitor caught up to her she took off like a mad woman heading in the opposite direction as us. The idiot janitor fell for the trick and chased after her. Me and Caleb ran down the hall way and pushed past the doors. We were behind the school . The school has a field in  the back that's used for little kid football practice and soccer practice.

We both started laughing like maniacs.

"Did you see that? That stupid janitor." Caleb said laughing even harder.

"Oh man I wonder if she's gonna catch Lydia." Then I thought about it."Nah Lydia's to smart." We both started laughing. Finally the laughter died down.  Caleb leaned against the wall and started at me , I stared back. He pushed off the wall and came so he was right in front of me. He pushed a strand of hair out of my eyes and leaned in. His lips were about 1 inch away from mine when we heard someone scream.

Quickly we parted and looked to see where it came from. We looked over in time to see Lydia running and yelling,

"Run the bitch is fast!" And everyone else running with her. The janitor was only a few yards behind them.

"Okay follow me , we'll sneak away." Caleb said and grabbed my hand.

Oh god please tell me those aren't butterflies in my stomach and I just ate something bad earlier.
