*Three months later *

"So what do you want for Christmas? " I didnt wanna seem to forward but i couldn't help it.

"I don't know. Surprise me."

Me and Zoey have been dating for 3 months it's been pretty great even though we fight sometimes.

"Fine. Be all secrety." I pouted trying to seem as childish as possible she always gave in when I did.

"Not gonna work this time."

"Damn. Oh well I'll be ok."

"So is your mom coming for Christmas?"

"Yeah and my brothers and my cousins. How about you?"

"My dads coming. My mom is gonna be working. And my brothers wanna meet you since they left to college before they could have a chance."

"I'm glad."

"Glad?"

"Yeah I'm glad that this is working out."

I was glad that me and Zoey were able to move in together after we moved out of our parents. It took a while to get everything balanced out. But we managed to get a pretty good 2 bedroom apartment. Even though we sleep in the same bed most of the time. We have another to make our parents seem less interested to check up on us.
This is really working out..

At that moment my phone rang.

"Hello."

"Hey Dante its Della I wanna give you your present before I leave tomorrow. Can we meet up at the park?"

She sounded a little different which got me on the defensive.

"Sure thing."

"Bye."

I hung up and Zoey was looking at me with a worried look.

"It'll be ok, Zo."

"I just don't like you using those abilities."

She never did. Ever since I saved her she thought I'd jump into danger whenever I could to test myself.

"I know but she's in trouble. I'll be back soon."

"Okay. Good luck. I love you."

"I love you, too."

I went to the park and saw about 4 things shift in the darkness.

"Come out."

"Nothing passes you does it?"

"Who are you?"

"I'm Aurox. And you're 'heaven's will', aren't you? "

Ever since I beat that boss a few months ago people gave me that name since my tattoo was a cross.

"I've never really liked nicknames."

"It's ok I didn't either."

"So what do you want? "

"Spar with you."

"Why?"

"I wanna see who's stronger. It took a while to find you since you rarely tell anyone your name."

"That's fine with me. As long as its only sparing."

I took off my jacket and ran as fast as I could. While I was practicing fighting I managed to come up with a skill. I called it flash step. It seems like I am teleporting when I'm just moving too fast for anyone to see me. I slid on the ground and upper cuted him with my right foot. He flew about 10 feet in the air.
I thought he'd be stronger if  he wanted to fight.

I used Flash step to appear behind him but that's when he elbowed me in my stomach. I fell straight to the ground.

"What the hell."

"That was a good move Dante. But with my eyes i can see almost anything."

I looked closer. His eyes were glowing yellow.

"I see. Then I'll have to finish this fast. I'm gonna be late for a party."

"You know I don't think you should be so cocky. Cause I'm not planning to let you leave without a broken leg or two."

"I thought you just wanted to spar."

"I did but it would make my friends feel better if you were disabled for a while."
So he's got a group that has it out for me.. That's good to know. "Then I cant let you leave conscious."

I used Flash step to appear next to him but I moved all around his body at random and every 2-4 times used it i punched him or kicked him. I did a total of 72 flash steps but it only took 5 minutes to get him knocked out.

"What the hell...are you?"

"Don't say anything. You need to save your strength if you wanna be able to tell what happened."

I left and went back to my apartment. When I walked in I saw Della running towards me.

"I'm so sorry Dante. They wouldn't let me go until I called you."

"It's ok. I took care of it."
So they know Della. That means they know everyone else.
"Hey guys its about time to do secret Santa so get ready."
But they're damned if they think they can take this away from me.
