Chapter 1: School
"'Ey, loca!' (hey crazy girl!)" Keithlin screamed from all the way across the the school hall. She earned some weird looks.
"'¿Qué es la que?!'(what's up!?)" I screamed louder earning everybody's attention.
About two years have passed and we're juniors at Golden Gate Highschool, North Carolina. Even though time has certainly passed, it doesn't mean we've changed. As the Holiday's rounded the corner, so did finals week.
Confused? Let me refresh your pretty wittle mind.
My name is Sara Fernández, brown haired crazy chick that likes to annoy and go to Sara land! A place where I space out. My friends call it "going on limbo". While most people believe my factions are unique, I believe otherwise. My auburn hair is often admired, which I never know why. Same goes with my eyes. While I see soft brown irises, people often mention that when the light hits at the right spot, green and yellow make an appearance.
I could care less, if I'm honest. Brown hair and eyes, it's that simple.
If you saw my last name and thought "She must be latina", then feel proud for you are correct dear reader! My parents are puertorrican and we moved here around the time I entered kindergarden. While being latina comes with some added bonuses, my skin does not display what is often associated with being a latina. I'm the palest of them all, which got me the nickname Snow White. Has it been in a mocking matter? Mostly. Do I act irrationally if people call me such a nickname? Probably.
Quick tip. Don't call me that if you want to keep all your fingers.
There was once this guy, who I called Shaggy, that had the guts to call me Snow White. He ended up with a Xbox controller thrown at his head. Now you must be thinking, why a controller when she could have kicked his jewels? Easy, out of pity.
I'm currently a blue belt martial artist. I'm supposed to take the black belt exam on February. I've been training for this for a long time. Tang Soo Do is basically my other life.
"Sara!'' Keithlin screamed in front of my face.
"What?" I screamed at my annoying best friend.
"You were spacing again!" She complained.
I rolled my eyes "No I wasn't. I was explaining the Wattpad readers about my life."
Keithlin rose an eyebrow. "What the heck are you talking about?"
"Oh, just forget it and let me finish thinking to them about my life!"
"Sara, we are late for class. Samantha will be angry you skipped."
I groaned. Yeah yeah. I'll just finish retelling my life to you guys during Math. Yes, I have math as my first class, take pity on me.
We ran to the class room just as the bell rang. Well, we made it!
Keithlin and I walked to the back of the room to our usual seats, next to Hunter. When we entered High School, we had managed to have all our classes together. But we quickly learned it wouldn't always be that way. It's been over two years since all that romance started between Samantha and Ian; not forgetting Jake and Keithlin. Confused a bit? Let me explain to you somethings. I know it will be boring, but I'll explain in a jiffy.
This is my group of (weird) friends:
Keithlin- Tall. Tanned skin. Black loose hair. Perfect body. Never remembers a thing. Loves sports. Is Jake's girlfriend. 16 yrs.
