It was a dark rainy day, it was about 4am. You heard your parents fighting downstairs.....again.
You lived in a quiet place, the houses were very far apart. Your house was the last one down the street. There was a huge forest behind it. You never went in there tho, you were terrified of it.
Usually when your parents fight, you go out to your balcony and climb the roof. So you did, you put on your headphones and just sat there in peace. It was still dark outside. You loved watching the sunrise.
So you were sitting there when suddenly you saw something. It looked like a dog running into the woods. You thought nothing of it, but then you heard it. A howl.
You took off your headphones and stayed quiet, just to make sure you were right. You heard it again. That wasn't any dog howl. You thought about just going inside and telling your parents or something, but no. You got off of your roof, like an idiot and started walking into the forest.
There it was again, the howl. It sounded like it was hurt. You kept walking. You were scared but curious.
Then, there it was. A wolf. You were terrified.
It wasn't hurt at all. It looked perfectly fine. It looked young. Not a pup, but also not a full grown wolf.
It circled you. Then it got closer while you just stood there as still as possible, praying it would go away.
It now stood in front of you. You looked into its dark black eyes. It was weird. It felt almost human.
You took a glance at your watch. It was exactly 6am. Suddenly the wolf ran off behind a tree. You thought this was your only chance to run, but you didn't. The wolf started whimpering and growling.
You stayed there frozen, wondering what was going on.
Then the wolf was gone and instead a girl walked out from behind the tree. She was naked and looked confused.
So were you, but you asked her if she needed help. She got closer to you and whispered that you follow her. You did.
You got deeper into the forest and finally stopped at what looked like a small cave.
She had clothes in there and put them on.
You asked her what was going on, you were still very confused.
She told you everything. She used to be normal girl. She had a girlfriend. Her girlfriend was a wolf, but not a full wolf. She needed to bite someone else so that she could be free. So she bit her. Ever since then, she's been living in the woods, scared that she might hurt someone.
Now you were scared that she'd do the same to you, but she seemed.... different.
She said it would be better if you left, but you stayed. You had nothing and no one to go home too. Your parents never payed attention to you.
You told her about yourself. A normal 17 year old girl.
You asked her what her name was. It was Hyejoo.
You held her hand and she held yours. You fell asleep there.
When you woke up, she was still there. It was about 5pm.
After that day, you stayed there. You two stayed together for a long time. You eventually started developing feelings for each other.
One day at about 7am, Hyejoo took you up to a tree. You both sat there just looking around. Then you looked at each other, and it happened. You kissed.
You knew you loved her, and she loved you.
She helped you down from the tree and you went back into the cave. You made love until sunrise.
Hyejoo promised she'd never hurt you and you promised you'd never leave. You were all each other had and you were in love.
