Boy under a spell~

No school?

Monday morning
You woke up once again to your alarm, or was it an alarm?......

No, it was your phone ringing. You looked at the caller and it was your teacher. You cleared your throat and sat up from your bed as you accept the call.

„hello?"
You speak into your phone.
„good morning Y/n, sorry to bother you but i had to inform you on something"
The teacher said.
„uh yeah sure, what is it?"
You question while scratching your head.
„since there was some kind of chemical explosions in the chemistry lab, school will be cancelled for a long time. We don't know how long exactly but we will inform the parents and children about this"
The teacher explained. You sat on your bed kinda shocked at what the teacher just told you. „uh okay, i hope everything ends well"
You say in a low tone.
„i hope so too, thanks for listening" he just hands up the phone.

Well....no school for a while huh. You looked at the puppy who was still sleeping.
Is this really not just a dream?
You ask yourself.

How can something like this happen? Like i didn't think magic really existed.....

You sat in your bed for a moment. Doing nothing but staring at something in your room. Something broke the silence though.

The puppy has awoken and cutely yawned before getting up. You snap back to reality and look over „good morning boy" you slightly smile at him. He quietly barks in response.

You hear a knocking at your bedroom door „Y/n, are you up yet?" The voice of your mother was heard behind the door „yes I'm awake!" You respond looking at the door. Your mom slowly opens the door and peeks in „did you hear yet? There's no school" she looked at you taking a step into your room. „yes I've heard, the teacher called" you nodded

„and good morning puppyyyyy" your mom looks at the cute puppy smiling. „what are you planning on doing today?.....or what do you plan on doing when you normally would have school?" Your mom asks
„uhhhh we will probably get homework but if i don't have homework to do....I'll just look after the puppy and live my everyday life"
Your mom chuckled at your response. „alright then, there's breakfast in the kitchen if you're hungry"
She smiles while slowly exiting your bedroom.
„thanks mom" you say as she closes the door.

„still can't believe that this is all real" you mumble to yourself.
The puppy walked towards your bed looking up at you.
„come here" you smile and pat the space on your bed.

The puppy jumps up and sits there tilting his head at you. You copy his move and smile. „you know...i kinda wished for something exiting to happen but i never expected something like this" you tell the puppy who was looking at you cutely. „don't get me wrong, i think finding you and being able to help is pretty cool and amazing but I'm just not sure if i can-"
You were cut off by a paw touching your leg. The puppy put his paw there as if he was trying to say „it's gonna be okay"
You looked down at his paw. A slight smile formed on your face. „I'll keep trying" you pet the puppy's head. He happily barks at your sentence.

After getting ready for the day and feeding the litte puppy, you plop on your bed staring at the ceiling.

„hey boy" you say sitting up from your bed.

The puppy looks at you and paying attention.
„is it okay if we take a break today? I promise I'll try really hard tomorrow"
You give the puppy a slight smile.
He barks and nods in response.
„thanks" you nod your head and plop back onto your bed.
