Since I am required to read Hamlet for Brit. Lit., I'll be updating about once every 2 weeks, depending on how much homework I get in my other classes.

Brianna’s POV

*Friday continued

HOLY SHIT! That was the only thing my brain could piece together. After Nathan took off the blindfold I stared out into the stadium in amazement. How’d he get these tickets? How’d he get these seats? Holy shit, I’m at an All Blacks game. I continued to sit there and stare. “Bri? Are you ok?” Nathan asked causing me to lose my train of thought. “Uh, Nathan?” “Yeah?” “What are we doing here?” I know it was a stupid question but I was in total shock. I’ve wanted to go to an All Blacks game since sophomore year in high school. “Um, we’re having a date. Do you not like it? Oh god, you hate it.” He muttered some curse words under his breath while pacing back and worth. I stood up and walked in front of Nathan. “Nathan, I love it. I just don’t know how you got these tickets. This game is extremely rare so I’m just in shock.” That seemed to answer a lot of questions in his mind because his shoulders dropped and a look of satisfaction ran through his eyes. “Ok good. Because I really hoped you’d like it. I didn’t wanna do the typical first date. And since Becca said you used to play rugby, I thought that this would be a cool first date.” He blushed a little bit.

Since I didn’t wanna miss any moment of the game, I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the couch. Yes, there’s a couch and it’s so comfortable. “You hungry?” He asked me. I didn’t think I was hungry until my stomach growled. “I guess I am. What’s there to eat?” I really hoped it wasn’t the typical game food because I was starving. “Um, I can get a menu.” He stood up and walked off somewhere. When he came back, he was holding two menus. “Menus? I think I’m in love with this date.” Don’t judge me, I was hungry and I wasn’t afraid to admit it. “Good. Now pick something. Anything.” He shouldn’t have said that. I’m gonna wanna try a lot. I know it’s a date and that girls normally don’t order anything besides a salad, but I’m not a salad eating girl. I eat what I want when I want and nobody can stop me. I stared at the menu just taking in everything that they had. I didn’t know what I wanted but I knew that I wanted fries. I saw pasta and instantly went to heaven. My mom always made the best pasta and I fell in love.

“Ok love. What would you like?” Nathan seemed to be waiting for me. I guess I got lost in the menu items. “Um, chicken & broccoli Alfredo pasta. And fries.” I know that the fries threw him off. “Fries?” He said that with a smirk. “Yes fries. I love them and maybe we can share.” “Ok. Drink?” I hadn’t even looked at the drinks; it was time to do that now. “I’ll have sprite. You?” I knew what he would order but I just wanted to hear him say it. “Coca-Cola.” He’s so cute when he says that. The only reason I know about that was because Tianna made me sit through all of their Wanted Wednesday videos and I’m glad to say that they were hilarious. “Aww, so cute.” I pinched his cheek because I wanted to see him blush and he did just that. He’s the absolute cutest when he blushes. That’s another thing that I like about him. I know it’s weird but it’s a cute attribute to have. “Ok. So you want chicken & broccoli Alfredo pasta, fries and a sprite?” I nodded. “Ok. I’ll be right back.” Nathan swiftly got up and told whoever what we wanted.

When Nathan came back, he looked happier than before. “Hey, why are you so smiley?” “Well, I’m on a date with the most beautiful girl ever. Who wouldn’t be smiling about that?” Here comes the blush. I decided not to hide it this time since Nathan sees it anyway. “The game will be starting in five minutes.” Once the announcer said that, I got extremely giddy. I’ve wanted to see the All Blacks since high school and now because of Nathan, I get to see them from the most amazing seats. “Excited I see?” He can be such a smart ass when he wants to be. “Yes! I’m freaking out over here. Aren’t you?” I knew he was excited but nobody and I mean nobody was as excited as I was. “Yes, but you definitely pass me on the excited scale.” He was right, I loved rugby when I first started playing but I stopped because of Chris. I couldn’t put myself through the game without thinking about him, so I just stopped playing all together. I never told Becca why I stopped; I just told her that I wanted to do something else. We never talked about it and I was ok with that because I don’t really like talking about my past.
