Life After Rejection: A Rejected Werewolf's story

Chapter 1

I feel the pain. Blow after blow. Explosions all over my flesh causing bruises and cuts. I'm Flora Daniels I am turning 17 today. Right now I'm being beaten by my brother. I don't know why but my whole family and pack hates me, after my first shift at age 10 they started to hate me, something about being a cursed wolf. I have a few buddies but none I trust enough to ask for help, though everyone at my all wolf school knows already.

Suddenly Issac stopped hitting me.

"Time for school trash" he snarled. I looked at the floor grabbed my bag and raced out of the house and started off to school.

May a friend of mine saw me and pulled over and picked me up. She is from a different pack and her birthday was also today. She was extremely pretty with long flowing blonde hair an angular yet feminine face and a perfect body.

I wasn't bad looking despite being called ugly all the time. I had long shiny raven black hair and a slim heart shaped face and violent violet (purple) eyes. My body is slim and I'm tall but not to tall. I guess I'm pretty but I honestly don't know what it means, since I'm covered in bruises.

Green eyes stared at me. "What , sorry May i didn't catch that" I say apologetically

" haha, I said we are birthday twinzees, and that we both might find our mates today, and how cool it would be if they where both from my pack" she repeats. May is from the blue moon pack, while I'm from the scarlet moon pack. There where five different packs in this area the leading one was the moon goddess pack, said to have been personally blessed by the moon goddess herself.

I laugh nervously " yeah" I'm honestly scared to find out who my mate is because they will probably just reject me.

As a good song comes on the radio we turn up the volume as we drive to school

' take me to church' I sung quietly as we pulled up to the school.

"Here" May said as she handed my concealer "I'll make up an excuse for you in first period just go cover up your bruises they are really bad today"

I look to her gratefully "thanks may"

"And Flora, I love you, like a sister I mean" she said.

I smiled and hugged her as she hugged back.

" love you too May"

We got out of the car and I headed to the bathroom in a daze
Someone cared about me... Someone really cared...

I stand at the bathroom skin trying to cover up my bruises turning the dark blue into a light skin colour but I still looked blue.

Sighing I left the bathroom. That was when I smelt something amazing. I followed my nose after the smell of chocolatety vanilla male goodness. I turned down a hall to see Ashton with the same look on his face I had. My eyes went wide.

Ashton loved to abuse me. I had beatings with him twice a week one was tonight. These are some of the worst beatings I get.

He races towards me till recognition lights up his eyes. His happy joyous smile turns into an evil smirk. As he come to a stop in front of me I stare at him in fear.

" baby why are you scared" he cues evilly. I start to shake my wide violet eyes grow wider as his hand comes down and strokes my face. Then he violently pulls his hand back and slaps me hard making me fall to the ground.

I whimper in pain. It hurts ten times more than usual, probably because he's my mate. "Did you really thinks I would want you, you mutt, you bitch" he hissed " I have something to do now so if you don't mind I'll be going, don't forget your beating tonight. Be at my house at 6 o'clock"

He started to walk away. That when I start to say "I Flora Daniels reject..." But then I'm slammed up against the lockers denting them. My wolf, Violet, and I whimper.

" you will not reject me you bitch, I'm not done with you yet" he hissed in a deadly tone.

With that he grabbed my neck and started to choke me . After what felt like forever without air he dropped me to the floor and started to kick me. Finally he stopped and left.

I slowly got up and limped my way back to the bathroom. I pulled the concealer out of my bag and started to apply it again,now on the blue finger marks on my neck.

I look at the time and see that their is only a minute left of class. So I started off towards my second period class. By the time the bell rung I made outside the door of my next clasd. I stood waiting for everyone to exit. As I was about to enter when I see my brother walking towards the exit.

"Hahaha" he laughs " I see he got to you too" then he pushes me to the ground and leaves. I pick myself up, ignoring the pity looks from the other pack and the entertained ones from my pack as I walked into my class. It was my favorite class, honors math. It wasn't my favorite because of the students or the teacher, but because I love math with a passion.

Sadly this class flys by then it was chemistry, then lunch. Which is when I saw May.

"Flora! What happened?" She asked in shock. "Nothing" I muttered

With that she dragged me out of the cafeteria

"Who did this, was it your brother?" She asked furiously

Shaking my head "no it was my mate"

"Who is your mate?" She asked "and did he reject you? Did you reject him?"

So I went on to explain what happened today and what would happen tonight.

"Run away, come to my pack."she begged. I sighed "no I can't everything will get worse, I'll just live as I am I'll be fine" with that I left to my next class.

The day continued to pass quickly. And before I knew it I was heading home.
