The sun had overtaken the sky like a huge blanket; the birds sang their song of glee and the street were as quite as one can imagine.
If only time would go slower so we can appreciate the beauty.

Jae-Hwa suddenly woke up with the sun in her eyes and her mum standing at the curtains. Jae-Hwa gave  out a big sigh, hinting to her mother that she wasn't in the mood for today.
She thought to herself, "why can't I stay a little longer in my dream."

"Hurry up! It's your first day of the semester. You don't want to be late on the beginning of a new chapter!" Her mother cried out.

Jae-Hwa groaned, she never really liked school. What's the point if you know you're going to fail, Jae-Hwa thought.

"Walking to school is the easiest part as you have time to think and talk to your friends, but trying to survive in school is  the hardest part!" Jae-Hwa moaned  to her friend, (Ae-Ri) as they were walking towards the school.
" well maybe it's because you never talk and nobody understands you."
" I-I do talk to people it's that you just don't see me talking to people."

Finally they arrived at the gate of their school,
seoul saenghwal haggyo also known as Seoul's school of life also known as hell for Jae-Hwa.

"Will I finish the day without any problems?" she whispered to her self.
She entered the school, already regretting the decision to not run away and never go to school again, but she managed to put a smile and greet her teachers.

Remembering what Ae-Ri said Jae-Hwa tried to talk to a  classmate sitting behind her but after asking questions and receiving "boring" answers such as yes and no she gave up.
"Atleast I tried." she thought.

The class had only began and Ae-Ri had started to fall asleep, Jae-Hwa always admired that Ae-Ri never cared, even though she was at the bottom of the class. It was as if nothing scared her not even the upcoming test, which Jae-Hwa already knows she didn't study.
