Once we had finished our milkshakes, we started to head out, but soon realised that it was absolutely sloshing it down, and neither of us were prepared for this, at all, we hadn't even got a coat to share.
'So, who's going out first, who's gonna be brave!' 'Oh I think it should be you, since you're the only male between us!' I said, cheekily. 'Oh ok!! Well since you are correct about that, I will be you're knight in shining armour and try to shield you a bit, risking myself getting soaked because I'm a gentleman.' he says, as he opens the door and puts his arm around my shoulders, making me bend down a bit as he takes off his jumper and holds it over our heads. 'Any use?' 'Yeh it's working, but you are going to get soaked, you can't get a cold, just so that I don't get soaked. I'd rather get wet than you get ill!' 'Ok then!' and with that he yanked off the jumper and legged it across the street, leaving me stood there, and the rain dripping from my hair. 'Nialllll!!! Seriously, get back here now!' I screamed, running towards him. 'You're going to have to come and get me first!' He winked. Ok then, if thats how you want to play it! I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him refusing to let go, trying to grab his jumper off him. I know that by now, there may be no point in even trying to stay dry now, because I was well aware that my hair was hanging off my head all limp and stuck to my cheeks, and there's no telling what my makeup looks like. I should say that it's half way down my face by now, but since Niall had seen me, I didn't really care.
Once I had finally got the jumper off him, I rubbed my face in it, just to make him pay. But he grabbed my waist, spinning me around, and placed a small, light kiss on my lips, before stopping and looking into my eyes. This was perfect. It was everything I hoped my first kiss would be like, in the rain, with a hot boy. Life complete. Before he could say anything, I leaned back in and placed another, but more passionate kiss on his lips, this time lasting longer than the other one, and he melted into it, pulling me closer.
No one else was around. It was just us and the rain, pouring down our faces as we carried on this perfect moment. I stopped and smiled, then looked at the ground, but soon my head was being lifted, showing a beautiful smiling Niall, rosy cheeked, and biting his lip, oh how could he be anymore sexy. He brushed back a small piece of hair that had flopped in front of my eyes, and laughed at how soaked we both looked.
Walking together, hand in hand. we made our way back to my house, him leaving me on the doorstep with a small peck on the lips, and a hand squeeze as he turned. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I ran to the end of the drive and jumped up, him catching me and I wrapped my legs around him and kissed him again.
This was perfect.
He was perfect.
We were perfect.
