''Daisyyyyy!!! Wake up!!! You're getting late for work'' Carla yelled from the kitchen. Daisy woke up feeling gloomier than she usually did. She checked her phone it was the 19th of July, her birthday but also it was 8 am and if she didn't hurry up Mrs Spencer would fire her despite the fact that it was her birthday today. Mrs Spencer was very kind and loving but also very strict. Oh how she wished she had a family how she wished that her parents were still alive and she could celebrate with them. Daisy sighed and went to the bathroom. Looked at herself and wondered why was she soo ordinary. She had ordinary hair, ordinary hands, ordinary skin, ordinary body and even her personality was very ordinary no one would ever love her the way she wanted to be loved. The attention she craved she might never get it.
While thinking about all these things she went to her wardrobe picked a cute mustard dress for the day, got dressed and went to the kitchen.
'' Good morning Carla'' Daisy said while walking inside the kitchen.
''SURPRISEEEE'' Carla yelled. Daisy was surprised that her best friend baked her a cake and made her breakfast after all there was someone who wanted to make her day special.
'' Aww Carla that's sooo sweet. Thank you sooo much'' Daisy cried with joy. Carla pulled her into a hug and said ''Now daisy I know that you miss your parents but just because you're an orphan and you don't have any siblings doesn't mean that you don't have anyone who doesn't love you. I'll always be here and I'm sure one day you will find a guy who loves you just as much as I do and maybe his name starts with C and rhymes with barnie'' Carla winked
''Charlie is lame.'' daisy said angrily while pushing Carla away.
''Okay okay I'm just kidding. Sit down have breakfast and cut your cake. They say birthday wishes always come true.
Who knows yours might come true today'' Carla smiled
'' Oh well not like it's gonna happen but here goes nothing.  I wish I wasn't so ordinary'' Daisy wished while blowing the candles and cutting the cake.
After daisy was done she left for work. She worked at a flower shop owned by Mrs. Spencer who was very kind to Daisy and tried to take care of her as much as possible and Charlie was her co-worker who pretended to like daisy but daisy wasn't interested because she knew his real intentions. She wanted real love the type of love she read about and saw in movies and she knew Charlie didn't see her like that. Charlie was just a hormonal teenager he wouldn't hold her hand or hug her for hours. He wouldn't stare at her while she was working and admire how beautiful she was. He wouldn't try to make every wish of hers come true and life wouldn't be magical with him. She had been in way too many ordinary relationships where the guys won't make her their first priority and would the second someone better arrives because there was always someone better than Daisy and this is why she didn't want to be with Charlie.
'' Good morning Mrs Spencer'' Daisy  smiled.
'' Well hello my dear and a very happy birthday. You can take a half day today as a present'' Mrs Spencer smiled.
'' it's your birthday today?'' Charlie inquired.
'' yes it is '' daisy replied.
'' can I take you out then?'' Charlie questioned.
As soon as he said this a BMW Z3 pulled up. Daisy stared  at her dream car little did she know that this moment was going to flip her life upside down. She was staring at the car when a handsome, tall, charming man, who was dressed in a navy blue suit got out and started waking towards her. Daisy couldn't help but stare and droll over how mesmerising this man was, he made the car look so ordinary. Daisy could feel her entire body heat up and she had never felt this way before.
'' Hey Daisy'' the guy smiled.
Thats the most beautiful smile I've ever seen daisy thought to herself.
'' Good morning Sir, how do you know name? '' Daisy said while struggling to breathe
'' From your name tag how else? I need a hundred red roses please'' The man smiled again
''Okay sir and what name should I put on them?'' Daisy inquired hoping they weren't for another girl.
'' From Nathaniel to Rosy'' he smiled
God this smile is going to be the death of me Daisy  thought to herself but oh wait Rosy? Well of course he has a girlfriend it's a crime to be soo hot and single. Daisy sighed
'' There you go Sir. Have a nice day'' Daisy smiled
''Well now that I've have seen you I'm sure that I'll have an amazing day and also nice dress'' Nathaniel winked and left
Daisy had goosebumps. She couldn't breathe. Did he just compliment me? What? Did he flirt with me? This man who looks like heaven complimented an average looking girl like me? It's probably out of sympathy but what if this was my birthday miracle? Daisy couldn't help but smile to herself all day long
