"Remember dear, don't trust anyone in there, you can't trust anyone."
"You have to survive, no matter what happens, you have to survive."
"I'm so sorry dear, I can't go on with you. Remember, I love you so, so much."
"Everything is in your hands now."
"Good luck..."
Eyes snapping open, the young girl stares in shock at the starry night above her.
"Finally awake? Are you okay?" Making no move to get up from her position on the dirt ground, the girl slowly turns her head towards the voice. The person speaking was a young woman with long pale blond hair and sad, sad blue eyes daintily weaving for what seems like a flower crown.
Ignoring the woman's question, the girl asked, "Where am I?"
The woman blinked in surprise before smiling, "Where else but Nusquam."
"Nusquam?"
"Yes, Nusquam. Are you perhaps an Outsider?"
"Outsider?" Hearing the girl ask, the woman paused in her work before turning her eyes towards the girl. Now with the woman's attention on her, she could see the green specks within her blue eyes as they scan her face for answers. Perhaps she found her answer, perhaps she didn't, but the woman regained her smile, turning her eyes back to the flower crown and resumed with her weaving.
"Outsiders are those who are abandoned by the Gods, exiled for their lack of faith. Until proven worthy, they shall never step foot into Nusquam." The woman's eyes were sad, despite the smile she was wearing as she talked. "In Nusquam everything belongs to the Gods. The reason why we are able to live, the reason why we are able to breathe, the reason why we are able to fight, everything belongs to the Gods. Nusquam is fair and just, there is nothing else." Finishing the flower crown, she lays it on her head. The purple and blue flowers against her pale blonde hair makes her seem almost angelic as she leans back to look at the starry sky.
Stunned, the girl asked, "Who are the Gods?"
"Who knows," the woman laughed, "Hey, what's your name?"
The girl slowly sat up, dark hair falling over her shoulder as she pondered over the woman's question.
"I don't know."
The woman hummed at her response before saying, "How about in remembrance of our meeting under this starry night, what do you think about the name 'Celeste'?"
"Celeste?"
"Yep, it means heavenly."
The girl frowned, "Don't that suit you more?"
Surprised, the woman burst out laughing, "Well I'm glad that you see me that way. But I assure you, the name suits yourself just fine."
Furrowing her eyebrows, "Then I'm... Celeste."
"That's right!" The woman smiled before stretching out her right hand, "Nice to meet you Celeste, I'm Asmodeus."
Reaching out her own hand, she whispered.
"Asmodeus..."

Author's Note:
This is my first work (first work that I had the guts to publish actually), so there is going to be a lot of things that I'll need to work on. However, I would love to hear everyones thoughts and feedback on this^^
My updating schedule will probably be a little episodic, at least until after my finals and into summer break (considering I'm a struggling student T.T). But, I hope everyone will enjoy with me through the adventure of Neverland!
