Hush, whisper quietly
Before the crows take flight
And the fox
Bites into the rat's torso
In the morning, at night.
Before we're discovered,
Let's sneak in the woods
Together
And slip in some alone time
Forever.
Alas,
Don't you wish
"If only we could."
I'm sorry if I broke your heart.
These lungs are cold
But they don't suffer from draught.
The words I say
Aren't as wise and clear as day;
But my intentions are pure
Yet these are the very intentions that drive you
Insane
And wanting no more.
They don't stop causing torment
like how your eyes
Keep stealing the moment.
Your eyes
Whisper quietly;
They tell me
Hush.
"If only we could."
And I indulge in your whispers again
Only to leave
In a rush
And I tell you
Hush.
