Lily's POV
How on earth was there a global pandemic and yet I was suddenly getting all of the attention? That's all I could think for the past week of ups and downs.
Jaden had been a literal God send this past week, helping me out through everything, letting me rant, asking me questions to help take my mind off of things. At one point he'd even asked about Blake, but I explained that a lot of what I knew about Blake was likely to be lies.
I sighed as I allowed my head to lay back on the sofa, Bryce sitting next to me as I did so. Bryce and I had actually been hanging out a fair bit lately, but he wasn't really giving me 'friend' vibes, more so it seemed like he was going for more of an older brother kinda thing.
"I just wanna disappear." I stated as I looked up blankly at the ceiling and Bryce sighed, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"I know the feeling, but it's only temporary." He tried to reassure me. Honestly, he had also been a God send during this whole thing- He understood what I was going through to at least some extent. All of the guys had actually been super helpful, I'd never known it was possible to have so many people actually care about me. It was crazy."I know, I know. It'll all be fine in the end." I agreed, repeating what I'd been saying for the last few days. In the end, everything would be fine.
"A couple of bad days don't make for a bad life." I added before jumping up from the sofa, surprising Bryce.
"I'm done with moping. I need to shower, I need to be productive, I need to do something other than laying around and feeling like shit." I explained, determination evident in my tone and he smiled at me as he nodded.
"Good call. What did you have in mind?"
I thought for a moment.
"Baking. You in?"
"Sure."
So, I left and got a cold shower before changing into some decent clothes and reconviening in the kitchen with Bryce. I'd brought my camera with me, deciding this could be a YouTube video if it was okay with Bryce, and it was.~~~●~~~
Bryce was a goofball.
I'd spent most of the past two hours laughing as he pulled weird faces or just said the most random and/or semi offensive stuff that would definitely cause a controversy, but by this point I didn't care about that.
I was surprised we'd even managed to get the baking done with how much we were messing around, but the banana bread we'd made actually turned out pretty well, despite Bryce adding a few random shots of alcohol when I wasn't looking.
"Thanks for watching guys! I hope you enjoyed this... um... interesting video. The recipe we followed will be linked in the description, minus the shots of whiskey added by Bryce-"
"But I think you guys can just measure that with your heart, y'know?" Bryce added, as if offering some great advice and I playfully rolled my eyes as I looked up at him.
"Or, y'know, don't add it at all cause I know most of my audience are probably under age. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe and I'll see you guys whenever I next make a video!" I told the camera before turning it off.
"Right, now to have the guys taste it?" I suggested and Bryce nodded, taking the plate with the banana bread on it and leading us to the living room, where sat Anthony, Kio and Griffin."Boys!" I called, getting their attention and they all looked up from whatever they were doing, eying Bryce and I suspiciously.
"We come baring food, we wish for you to try it." I more so ordered than asked and after a few concerned or worried glances they each had a bit of the bread.
Anthony and Kio winced whilst Griffin handled the sudden hit of alcohol like a boss. I recorded their reactions on my phone, deciding to put them on my Snapchat story.
