Ian's POV
I walk down the hallways of my school. People spit insults at me, hoping to make me feel bad.
I don't understand why high school is like this.
What do they achieve by making somebody else hurt?
Who even knows. All I know is their words have no effect on me. Not now, not ever.
My outfit consists of jeans and a gray long sleeve shirt. These clothes make me look like a happy kid. These people seriously can not know the real me.
Dragging myself to my next class, I walk into the door. I could hear some of the kids snickering and others saying "what is wrong with him"
I sit in my seat and pull out my book, and try to read as much of it I can before class starts.
Someone slams their hands down onto my desk, causing me to flinch. At first I thought it was my teacher but oh boy was I wrong.
I push my glasses up with my pointer finger.
I see Michael Marino, Tyler Jacobs, and Derek Mills. The 3 main jocks of our school.
You see, if I were any other nerd, I'd be terrified. I'm not like any other nerd, though. I'm not scared of these idiots.
"Well, Well, Well, look who we have here," Michael says while smirking.
I just roll my eyes and go back to reading my book.
"Hey! You look at us when we talk to you, you little dork," Tyler yells, knocking the book out of my hands.
I looked at my hand, the book, then my hands again. Finally, I look up at the three nimrods in front of me
"My book seems to be on the floor," I say
"Look at Captain Obvious over here everybody," Derek says, thinking he's so cool.
"Would one of you idiots care to pick it up. You knocked it on the floor." I spit
They raise their eyebrows at me.
"Yeah you heard me. Well, what are you waiting for?" I ask, sassily. I don't have time for this.
"I'll pick it up," Tyler's slutty girlfriend says while picking up my book and handing it to me.
"Ugh, now I have to burn it. Your slutty fingers have been all over it," I whine.
Derek is holding back his laughter, and Tyler smacks him in the back of the head.
"Hey baby," Tyler wraps his arms around her and kisses her.
"This is too cliché for me," I gag.
They all glare at me and walk away. Finally!!
The bell rings signaling that class is starting.
Oh great, this is going to be a very long day.
