The main character Ian at the end has a conversation with Mac one of his friends and talks about the kitchen and a birthday to Himself Ian. I think they will meet again because if they work together maybe they will be good colleagues in the future and have each other's trust in work so that they will be happy. I think that the conflict will continue because they will most likely bump into Sarge again and the whale story will most likely repeat itself and that Sarge will have to control himself more when they encounter each other again and life will be the same or normal.
