Phan- Not what we Planned

Illy lunged infront of me, almost trying to bar me from Phil. At first i thought it was because she thought i was moving forewards to get to him, but before i could tell her my real reason she sniffed loudly and turned to Phil,

"Philly, baby.." Phil looked at her softly and nodded with a small smile etching the sides of his mouth,

"You must understand that this hurts me, alot.."

"I know illy, i'm so sorry I-"

"But Phil, I can see what the right thing to do is. Dan," She spun round to face me, looking up at me with wide, glassy eyes

"You better be SO good to him, Dan. Treat him like the ruler of the world! Because he is, to me- and, i know he is to you aswell-" she trailed off slightly, glancing back at Phil slowly, he breath rattling in her lungs.

"Which is why, i know, that you deserve him. More than me. More than anyone. You've always been the one Phil can depend on, i know that much just by having a conversation with him. He needs you, Dan. Which is why i'm not going to let either of you give up on eachother." She grabbed my hands and pulled them round, linking them into Phils.

I looked up into his dazed stare. His hands tightened around mine as i pulled gently, leaning him in and placed my forehead on his. He giggled slightly at our shaky breaths and pounding hearts after the most sweet, truthful words such a broken girl could have ever said to us.

I lifted one hand and trailed it along his jaw, then kissing his lips softly and breaking out into fits of laughter. I couldn't even speak. My brain was in a daze, my heart drumming like i had never know it to ever before in my entire life, so hard that i heard the beats echo through my body and thump in my head. I could only laugh, and cry, and cry with laughter, and i think Phil was the same.

I noticed that he couldn't stop drifting his stare towrds the whimpering girl in the corner, whatching and giggling between sniffs and hugs from her friend.

"Go and talk to her, Phil" I lay a hand on his shoulder "you can't feel bad for her forever, and she'll never move on if you don't sort it out properly. Go say thanks" He looked over at me, wide eyed

"Can't you come too? I know, i know... she was my girlfriend but, i'd just be happier if you were there. Besides, she could have murdered you, but she didn't..." I rolled my eyes and laughed, before hugging my boyfriend and walking slowly towards Illy, who was in a deep conversation with Juliet and had almost stopped crying. She turned and looked at us as we got nearer, grinning and wiping under her eyes

"Illy, thankyou so much! I can't begin to explain to you how much this meant to me, how much you mean to me. I know i've just treated you horribly, i never ever would have dreamed to, but please, please can we stay friends... bestfriends?! No body has ever done anything like that for me, not even Dan! You were so brave, braver than me deffinately. I was terrified of hurting you, and it hurt me too! I know it's hard to undersand but i love you Illy, i really do! But-" Phil stopped and rubbed his hands over his eyes "I'm sorry, I'm just making it worse-"

Illy jumped up and hugged him tightly "Phil, I could have never asked for a better boyfriend. I was so lucky, I'll never forget it. But i will move on, because i know you're happy, and that makes me happy! So for gods sake go and be happy and stop worrying about me, or i can't be happy! And of course you will always be my bestfriend! You are one of the most Amazing people i know, Phil" She released him from the hug and left her hands on his shoulders and kissed him on the cheek, before letting go and spiinng towards me

"And the same goes for you! You two will be so happy together, and thats all i care about. Two amazing people should be allowed to be together!" She hugged me tightly and put a hand on my shoulder " You hurt him, Dan, and you'll have me to answer to!" We laughed and she wiped the last tear from her cheek.

"You don't need to worry, Illy! Thankyou, for everything, i could have never expected you to ever forgive me! You'll always have a place in my heart for this" I hugged her gently and turned to Juliet

" Juliet, I am so sorry! I never meant to treat you like that, i realy did like you i just-"

"You were a bitch to me, you know! I thought we meant something," She stared coldly at me, my chest tightened around me,

"but yea, like Illy said, it's you and Phil, i could have never dreamt about competing with that. You're perfect together" she smiled softly before turning to Phil to nod and smile.

There was a loud knock on the door, breaking the tension and making us all jump from our skin and laugh, and we heard Pj and Chris' loud giggles from outside.
