They've been so great! Maybe even one of their best performances! And they act like none of this drama happened, they seem really happy on stage. They've only got a few songs left for the night.

"The next song we'll be doing is about a girl called Amnesia," Calum says to the audience, laughing at his own joke.

Oh no. What if something happens. What if Luke starts to get upset. I wait and listen, it's one of my favourite songs.

"...And the dreams you left behind you didn't need them, like every single wish we ever made," I can see the tears in his eyes. As he sings on there are tears streaming down his face. The crowd has gone completely silent.

As Calum sings the next verse, Luke turns around to wipe away the tears. I start to cry seeing him like that.

Michael slowly walks over to Luke and asks if he's okay but he's got to sing again. Except he doesn't look at the crowd, he turns to me.

"If the day I woke up with you right beside me, like all of this was just some twisted dream, I'd hold you closer than I ever did before, and you'd never slip away, and-" he breaks down in tears and turns towards Ashton's drum kit.

Michael takes over his lyrics as Luke runs off stage. Calum turns to Michael and runs after Luke and then the whole song stops. I've never been to a show where there is no sound coming from the audience. He ran towards stage-right and I'm stage-left.

I stop breathing for a second trying to take in what's happening. There's no one on stage. They all ran after Luke. Before I even know what I'm doing, I've walked on stage. I pick up Luke's guitar that he left on stage and turn to the crowd. I can't even see them because of the bright lights beaming down on me. I hear a few claps in the audience. Not applauding claps, but slow claps, giving me a beat. More people join in.

The whole stadium is clapping in synchrony. I try to think back to when Luke was teaching me guitar. He never taught me Amnesia but I remember watching him playing it, mesmerised by his hands moving fluently over the string of the guitar. As I'm thinking of it I find myself playing chords and they sound like Amnesia.

The crowd starts singing to my guitar. This is the most amazing thing I've ever done in my life. I'm playing the guitar in front of thousands of people and they're all singing along. I turn around and Calum walks on stage, amazed by what I'm doing. He smiles a massive grin and starts singing.

I hear the drums start up again which means Ashton must be back and when I turn to my right, Michael is standing by my side. I turn around but Luke is nowhere to be seen.

"He'll come back for the next song. Do you think you can keep going until the end of the song?" Michael whispers to me.

"Yeah I think so. Sorry I'm so awful." I reply with a shaky voice.

"Shut up! You're actually pretty good!" He smiles to me and goes back to his microphone to sing Luke's lines. Before I know it the song is over. I take off the guitar and place it on the stage as I walk off again.

As I'm walking away there is an uproar from the crowd. They're going crazy again. It makes me smile as I walk off. When I get off-stage Luke runs back on.

"Sorry about that guys. Okay our last song for the night will be She Looks So Perfect!" His eyes still look puffy but he seems a lot better.

As the song is going, Calum skips backwards and stands a few feet away from me and prompts me to come on stage. I don't want to but once again he makes me. He nudges me towards Luke and shoves me into his side.

"Sorry!" I quickly say. He's singing but he winks at me as if to say it's okay. I feel awkward just being on stage and not doing anything. The songs finished now anyway. Luke stops to look at me.

"You all know who this is right?" Luke asks the audience, pointing at me,
"This is the most amazing girl in the world. She saved my ass out here tonight. My life revolves around her. I don't ever expect her to forgive me for what I did because what I did was the worst thing anybody could ever do to someone they love. I lost everything because of one stupid mistake but the most important thing I lost was you. I love you so much." Luke breaks down into tears again and I stare at him in disbelief.

Did he really just do that? In front of thousands of people. There is a long silence in the arena.

"Come here you idiot!" I put my hand on his neck and pull him towards me. His lips pressed against mine. His lip-ring cold on my lips. Our bodies close together with no space in between. Inseparable, our two bodies becoming one. As we kiss I can feel his mouth curl at the sides into a smile. I pull back.

"I love you," I lean in to kiss him again and he pulls away and his smile turns into uncontrollable laughter.
