Muse the Separation!

“Yes Mummy, she pushed me, I feel so scared” Diana said fretfully.

“My dear, are you sure about what you are saying? This is your sister we are talking about here” Heavenly said.

As soon as Diana was about to reply, Dinah came into the room with the water.

“Here mummy” she said as she gave her the water.

Heavenly just collected the water without saying anything.

“Ohh Diana, you are awake already? How are you feeli..” Dinah asked but before she was done, Heavenly said,

“Go play outside for a sec”

“But mummy, what's wrong?” Dinah asked.

“I said go out!” Heavenly yelled at her.

Dinah quickly went out, shocked by her mother's anger.

“What was that? What did Diana tell her? Hope she didn't say” Dinah thought as she went down the stairs.

“Mum, that wasn't necessary. You don't have to be like that. I want this to stay between the two of us. I don't want anyone else, including Dad, to know about this truth.” Diana said weakly.

“Honey, but why?” Heavenly quickly asked.

“I don't want any trouble. Mummy, I want peace! Just peace!” Diana exclaimed softly.

“Okay then, but baby, something has to be done. What if she.... No, this is just too much. She should be abashed! What nonsense! How can one despise her twin so much?” Heavenly said with tears in her eyes.

“Mummy, please be calm. You sure would not want anyone to come and start asking questions” Diana tried to calm her down.

“What have I borne to this world? A Sister, so Sinister. She's just nine, just nine, and she already has destructive plans. Haew! Haew!” Heavenly whimpered.

“Mummy, please calm down. This is why I didn't want to tell you in the first place. I knew you'd freak out. I just knew it. And besides Mum, I'm fine already, I'm just fine. Just let it slide and please act normal around Dinah. Please mummy, please.” Diana said.

“Hmmmmm” Heavenly exhaled.

*Meanwhile, Dinah was just close by. She did hear all that was said after which she ran off*

“It's okay, darling. I will see what I can do without letting anyone know. It's okay. Nothing's going to happen to you” Heavenly assured Diana as she wiped her tears and hugged her daughter.

Heavenly exited the girls’ room and went to the kitchen to serve dinner.

“Dinah, Dinah” Heavenly called out.

“Yes mummy” Dinah quickly answered running towards the kitchen.

“Go call your Daddy, tell him dinner is ready.” Heavenly ordered.

“Okay Mummy.” Dinah said while going upstairs.

“Should I bring Diana too?” She halted and asked.

“Come, who sent you that one ehhn? Busybody. Have you done the one I sent you? Please go and call your father” Heavenly growled.

Dinah quickly left her presence as she thought “The heck did I do that for! Why would I ask such a stupid question? Stupid me”

“My God! I can't even look at her the same way I used to before. She almost killed someone. I have a killer in my house. A nine year old killer. Such Infamy!” Heavenly thought feeling disgusted.
