Thoughts flooded Shoto's mind as he began to read, then re-read the messages between him and Midoriya. It was a part of his nightly routine by now and had morphed into a sort of obsession with the small green haired boy. Everything about him drove Shoto crazy. He glanced at the clock next to his bed as he bit his lip.

"Two in the morning already?"

He sighed as he plugged his phone in to charge before turning towards the wall, not noticing the message that had popped up on his screen until later that day.

. . .

Shoto walked around after getting his lunch, sitting down at his normal table. He usually sat with the so-called 'Dekusquad' every day, however the table was empty. He stared at the door, impatiently waiting for a certain someone to walk through. He stared for what felt like minutes, and the only people that came in were 1B students. Not who he was looking for. Shoto felt a little bit of disappointment as he started to eat his soba, deciding to stop waiting.

"This shouldn't bother me as much as it does," Shoto muttered to himself, "He's his own person..."

A familiar laugh suddenly flooded the boy's ears as Izuku walked through the doors to the cafeteria beside Bakugo. Shoto scoffed at the pair as they grabbed their lunches and Bakugo walked Izuku over to his usual spot at his table.

"Where were you two?" Shoto couldn't help but have jealousy flood his veins as Bakugo sauntered away with a light red dusting his cheeks, "Making out behind the bleachers?"

"O-Of course not," Izuku blushed, "Aizawa-Sensei had to talk to Kacchan after class and so I waited for him!"

Suddenly, Ochako walked up behind Midoriya with a knowing smirk. "Someone's jealous," she muttered, looking at Todoroki.

Shoto responded with a glare. "No one's jealous, fuck off," He grumbled, a light pink flushing his usually monotone face. Shoto looked back at Midoriya and started to talk to him about random things as the rest of the Dekusquad made their ways to the table, Iida, Tsuyu, and honorary member Shinso.

The students began to talk about how the training that day had been harder than usual when Kirishima walked over with his usual grin.

"Hey guys!" He gave a small wave. "I'm just reminding you about movie night tonight and was making sure nothing changed."

"I wouldn't forget about it for the world Kiri." Midoriya smiled brightly, causing the redhead to flush a barely noticeable red.

"Me neither." Shoto smirked as he thought about movie night being one of his few chances to get close to and hold Midoriya.

Kirishima cleared his throat. "Okay cool! See you then."

"What movie are you gonna bring Todoroki?" Midoriya asked, causing the boy next to him to snap out of staring at the green haired boy.

"I think The Shining would be a good one."

Shinso visibly perked up, hearing what Todoroki had suggested. "Oh hell yeah, let's watch The Shining. Let's give everyone nightmares for months," he said, obviously being serious.

Midoriya looked between the two boys with a look of worry. "Isn't that like... a scary movie?" He asked with a quiet voice.

Todoroki nodded, glancing at Midoriya. "It's supposed to be, but personally nothing scares me after the trauma I've experienced."

"Same." Shinso nodded, agreeing with Shoto.

"Are you guys okay?" Ochako asked, concerned.

"Not even a little bit," Shinso muttered.
