**2 weeks later**
Tiffany's pov
Dear diary,
I think I have a crush on someone! But our relationship would never work A) he is TWO years older than me B) he is so handsome he probably wouldn't give me a second glance C) all the girls stare at him and D) did I mention he is my sort of step brother?!
Plus I can tell Mum and Floyd can't stand him, I don't blame them, he did call mum stupid. But why does he have to be MY step brother? Anyway I have a plan I'm going to get to know Justin and if something does happen I will get mum and Floyd to like him.

"Hey Tiff are you coming to dinner to celebrate Vaughn's first few weeks?" Floyd smiles "Justin isn't coming so we will be free of that loser." He adds
"No, I think I'm just going to stay here, I have some homework to do." I smile back, even though the statement isn't true he seems to believe it.
"Fine, your loss," He smiles before leaving the room "bye." He adds
"Cya." I say.

Justin's pov
I'm in my room at the house, I didn't go to dinner because I don't see much point in celebrating that I live here with dad and his worthless new girl friend.
I'm taken away from laptop by a knock on the door, I thought I was the only one who stayed behind.
"Hi," Tiffany smiles "I thought you'd like some company."
"Yeah sure." I smile back
"I'm sorry about Floyd." She says
"It was my fault, I called Ally stupid," I say and from the look on her face I can tell she's hurt but I think she just shakes it off "I didn't really mean it, I just miss mum and dad together, you know?"
"Yeah," she says "I hate dad because hurt my mum but I have to find a way to miss him."
"Hurt her?" I ask
"Yeah, he hit her, hit us if we tried to stop him," I can see tears in her eyes "it's a shame he had a bad side, him and mum were perfect."
I put my arm around her and give her a hug.
"Everyone has a bad side," I say "some are just worse then others."
"Tell me about it." She mutters and comes out of the hug.
"We need to do something fun, lift up our spirits instead of thinking about our broken families." I say
"Hopefully our broken families can make full one." She smiles.

Tiffany's pov
We decide to go back into the house (Justin's bedroom is our old garage) and we choose a film to put on.
"What do you want to watch?" He asks
"Something scary." I say
"Really?," he says "you don't look like a horror person."
"What happened to don't judge a book by their cover?" I smile
We sit on the couch and watch a horror film I forgot the name of it, but it was so scary and it took me until the end of the film to realise that I had my head on Justin's stomach and for someone I've only known a couple weeks this doesn't feel awkward.

Justin's pov
Tiffany looks up at me and smiles and before I know it I lean in and I kiss her at first she was nervous but then she kissed back and then after sometime we came apart and we both smiled.
