Not even a chemical reaction could explain
Hope is rare but on a rainy day
The clouds will cry but your tears remain the same
A loss so deep
A wound that never allows you to sleep
To see the distance
Gave me hope for an instance

It's like all I can do is remember
A smile so sweet
A laugh so unique
But your hurt and pain
Keeps insisting on staying
To someone so special
My limits were non existent
For you there's nothing I wouldn't do
Now there's space
I don't know what to expect

I wish I held you more
Kissed you more
Listened to you more
Appreciate you more
But a chance that's now far fetched
