Chaeyoung didn't tell Jennie she was coming to Paris. It didn't seem like a stupid idea—Chaeyoung was nervous and she figured she would just courage up when she arrived later. It was fine.

It wasn't until she checked into her hotel and she was just standing there in the lobby with no idea where to go because she had no idea where Jennie was that she thought that maybe she should've told her.

She took her phone from her back pocket and decided to call Lisa. It took a few more tries for Lisa to pick up, and once the phone got connected, Chaeyoung spoke into the phone, "I have a problem."

"Did you forget about the time difference?" Lisa's voice was groggy. "It's midnight, you dumbass. Can you call me later?"

"No, this is urgent."

Chaeyoung can feel Lisa roll her eyes on the other end of the line, "When Jisoo kills me for being so noisy and waking her up, I'm blaming it on you."

Chaeyoung giggled, "Well, I hope she does wake up then."

"You want me dead, huh?"

Chaeyoung spotted a couch and sat down, sighing. "I can't believe you two got your shit together faster than me."

"Well, my Chaeyoungie, Jisoo and I may both be dumb back then but at least we're straightforward with each other now."

Chaeyoung scoffed. "You were the dumb one back then."

"Whatever, it's all in the past. Anyway, what I meant to say is that I was able to choose quickly. When I realized my feelings for Jisoo never left, I broke up with Irene. Then I told Jisoo, even though I have no clue on what her reaction would be. I took my chance. You did too, I guess, but you were just a bit too late."

Chaeyoung leaned back against the couch and closed her eyes, "Geez, Lis, think I didn't know that?"

"The good thing is that now you're fighting for her. All the way to Paris, very cheesy if I might add."

"Well," Chaeyoung chuckled. "It would be great if I knew where she was."

"What—"

Chaeyoung then heard a commotion on the other end and finally: "Chaeng? Is everything okay?" It was Jisoo.

"Hi, Chu."

"Are you okay?"

"I am."

"Okay... Is there a reason then why you're calling so late? Lisa has a loud mouth."

"Hey!"

Chaeyoung laughed at her friends' antics. She was glad everything worked out for them.

"Right. I was calling because I—"

"Rosie?"

Chaeyoung quickly opened her eyes, because she knew that voice all too well.

"Jennie."

And there Jennie was, standing in front of Chaeyoung, hands on her hips, head cocked to the side as if trying to figure out why Chaeyoung was there. All the way in Europe.

Chaeyoung quickly put her phone back to her ear, "Uhm, I'll call you back—Tomorrow. I'll call you tomorrow. Goodnight you two."

As soon as she ended the call, she looked up at Jennie, who was now raising her eyebrows, wearing an amused smile. "What are you doing here, Rosie?"

Chaeyoung gulped. Now that Jennie was in front of her, all the things she wanted to say to the brunette that she practiced on the plane ride just vanished. She was nervous, and she bet Jennie could tell because the next thing she knew Jennie was placing her hand on top of Chaeyoung's hands that were fidgeting on her lap.
