"so how about we go to the club tonight, you know since its almost your birthday derek." monroe said to one of her bestfriends . "no lets throw a party at his place. he's got a big ass house to himself, since his parents are out on a rich people business trip doing rich people shit." derek's other bestfriend vallyk had said. "oh shut up vallyk its not your choice nobody asked you and were all rich here." monroe said rolling her eyes at the boy. "shes right though we all have big ass houses, parents who do rich people shit, always leave us home, and we go to the most expensive private school ever, even though we have to wear this awful ass school uniform." their other girl bestfriend, zoe spoke picking on her clothes."
"well its not your choice either monroe and shush zoe who asked you." vallyk repeated to her. "i never said it was my choice!" monroe snapped. "i asked myself asshole." zoe jumped in causing the three of them to argue. mike, derek, and kobe were sitting on the other side of the lunch table sharing a bowl of fruit and watching their bestfriends argue and pick with other." "so were going with the club?" mike whispered to derek but not low enough so their friends wouldnt hear. "most def." derek laughed still looking at his friends.
"wait were going to the club?!" monroe asked halfway screaming her lungs out. "yes monroe we are." derek said picking at his fruit. "yay! this means i get to dress up monroe!" zoe yelled throwing her arms in the ear. "i know how to dress myself up." "no baby sorry, you dress like a crackhead hobo." zoe said while patting her bestfriends back. "fuck you zoe." monroe said folding her arms. "gimme kissy." zoe said grabbing monroes head and leaning in to kiss her forehead.
"hands off." kobe said smacking zoes hand as she pulled away from monroes forehead. "ow what the fuck kobe?!" "mouth and hands off of whats mine." "okay damn, lightskin whore." she said whispering the last part she had said. "we should try the club that just opened, i think its called the pobolitos?" mike said to derek. "Do you mean the polibios?" monroe asked looking confused. "yeah thats the one." "im down." derek responded finally lifting his head up from his fruit bowl."
"i dont know guys, i heard its a lot of mafia gang leaders over there." zoe tried to tell her friends but they didnt listen. "come on dont believe that stuff were still going so at least dress monroe nice if your not going." derek said getting up from the table and walking out of the cafeteria."

dereks pov:
i got out the shower and got dressed. i grabbed my phone and locked the door and started to head to the limo already seeing my friends inside. "happy early birthday boy!" mike yelled while passing me a drink. i grabbed it and took a shot. or two. or three. or four. or- you know what i mean.
we pulled up to the club and all got out. it was a big club. looked more like a hotel than it was a club. there were a lot if fancy cars parked outside of the club and people waiting in line to get in. most because they didnt make a reservation. its a good thing mike had made ours earlier or we wouldve been waiting in line longer. we got in and made our way to a booth. we were sitting drinking until a group of three boys came up to us. they all had teardrop tattoos on the left side of their eyes.
but the one in the middle was ho- "um your all in our booth." he spoke looking me straight in my eyes. "oh sorry." zoe spoke while getting up and facing us. "i told you dummies, gang leaders." she whispered but the boy in the middle of the three mustve heard what she said because he gave her a death glare. "no were not leaving you cant just kick us out the booth like you own the place." vallyk had said standing up. the other two boys on the sides were about to charge at him but the one in the middle stopped them.
"kai, ale, chill its good." the boy in middle spoke holding them back. "um well actually, my dad owns the place and hes doing business so i own it today, now if you can all get the fuck up and go to a different booth please." he said rolling his eyes. "we sure can." zoe said fast motioning for us to follow her.

"guys ill be right back i have to use the bathroom." i said getting up and walking down a hallway. i guess i was a little to drunk because i ended up walking outside instead of going to the bathroom. i was in an alley when i saw the three boys beating up a guy and the one that was standing in the middle holding a gun and pointing it to the guys head. before i knew it he was shooting the guy in the head and i was starting to scream.
he turned around and saw me. "go hide the body! ill deal with him." he said running over to me picking me up and putting me in the car. we were driving for a minute with complete silence and we pulled up to a mansion with gates surrounding it. he pulled into the gates, got me out the car, and carried me inside the house. he pulled me into a bedroom with red walls and a bed with red silk sheets. it was a big room, bigger than mine. "here put this on." he said handing me a white shirt and grey sweats. "l-like right here?" i asked nervous "yea i dont bite."
i pulled my shirt over my head taking it off and putting the shirt on i did the same with my pants. i looked up and he was sitting on the bed looking at his phone. "so um are you gonna explain what just happened or are we gonna sit here and have a sleepover because i have an early birthday celebration to get too." i said getting annoyed with him staring at his phone.
"aww happy birthday gorgeous. and no i dont tell ny business to strangers just know you cant tell anyone. im gonna find out if you do i always find out. plus im gonna be keeping an eye on you so dont try anything stupid." he said glaring at me. "im not gonna tell anyone but fine, and my birthday isnt today its tomorrow." "good thing its almost twelve huh? you can go to sleep i know your tired." i sat on the bed and got under the covers. i laid down and closed my eyes. "can i at least know your name?" i whispered, eyes still closed. i felt him come and lay next to me. "mattia." he whispered in my ear. "hmm im derek." "happy birthday d." he said i fell asleep after.
i woke up and noticed i was in my bed. i lifted up and my friends popped up in my face. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEDE!" they screamed making me laugh. "Thanks guys." "no problem and thanks for dodging us last night." zoe said laughing. "sorry guys i didnt feel good think i caught a bug." i said lying.
"still going to school come on." monroe said dragging me out of bed with the help of kobe. we drove to school in two seperate cars. when i was in class i had my head down. "class we have a new student today, everyone please give a warm welcome to mattia polibio." the teacher said causing me to shoot my head up. it was him. "mattia you take a sit next to....derek." he came and walked towards me sitting down smiling. "i told you i was gonna be watching you." he said winking at me.
this is gonna be a longg year.
