It was the first day of school, junior year, after the accidents during the summer. There have been tons of murders going on in Montelos Grove. Nobody knows, or has any leads, on who the killer is. It just doesn't feel safe in SouthSide High anymore. All the killings have been students and some parents of the students. The new student, Carter Henson, came to Montelos when the killings first started happening. He just doesn't seem like he is able to commit a murder. Then the rich, popular, Brooke Marsarto comes rolling in with her 2015 White Mercedes - Benz. She was just the average "Queen Bee" type white girl. Her dad is the mayor of the town, his name Mr. Marsarto, James Marsarto. Anyway enough about him, Brooke had her little minions and had boys drooling all over her. She may be pretty but she's also not that bright. We may have been friends in Elementary School, but now we went our separate ways. Then there was soccer superstar Evan Alexander. He was another average jock with his team slaves. Those are the well known high schoolers. Then there are people like Randi Miller. The quiet innocent type, the one with perfect grades, money, yet not really spoiled. Some call her nice, but I can tell that she has a hunch on who the killer is. Ever since the killings she has been more distant than usual. Her dad recently got out of prison, the same time Carter came, maybe it was her dad and maybe it's related somehow. Just a theory. Anyway then there are people like me, loner, writer, some might say mean but that's when they mess with me. I have a twin named Will, he's just another one of those popular jocks, captain of the football team and all that crap. We are not really close. He went with our aunt, I went alone. Oh yeah by the way I'm Maddie Reed, and this is my story.
