"Hey, I didn't see you for our drink." I heard someone say beside me, of course, he was in my class. I couldn't believe he had the nerve to still talk to me after doing what he did. Drinking with another girl, laughing, ruffling her hair... Yeah, I caught it all. Disclaimer, I was about to be extremely petty.

"Oh, I am sorry. Are you done with her already?"

"Huh?" he blinked in shock. He clearly didn't understand what I meant.

"I saw you with the girl, Alec. Are you boyfriend and girlfriend already? You don't have to deny it, or do you wanna say you were drunk, and you didn't know what you were doing and who you were with?" I raised my brows at him. Honestly, I didn't care about him being with her. I don't know it would take a long time before I actually have the chance to invest my feelings in anyone. I have never really had a crush on anyone, male or female.

"While you went to talk to those guys, I went to the bar, and she approached me."

"Shh, no one's listening to you." I rolled my eyes.

"Are you jealous?" Alec asked me teasingly, definitely not a time to flash your perfect white teeth and show off your nice dimples, playboy.

"As if. We are not even dating yet, and you are already so disloyal. For shame," I humphed, then faced the teacher to listen to what she was saying. The good news was that she was happy that I did the homework she gave us, but the bad news was that I was supposed to turn it in later this week. What a waste of time and effort, and I thought I was going to get detention. I really need to keep track of my classes.

"So you are jealous. If it makes you feel any better Doctor two left feet, Reana is my cousin" I blushed at my utter stupidity. No way she was his cousin. Where are my twin detectives? I need someone to dig up his life story and bloodline.

"My bad." I could have actually buried myself on the spot. All I needed was sand and a shovel.

"No, it's fine." he smiled at me. "But since I put you through all the mental trouble, what do I do to make it up to you?"

"Hmm, let me thi-" I was cut off.

"ALEC AND WINTER, how long before I call you out for talking about God knows what and put you in detention?" Mrs Anderson said. Apparently, right now. Another embarrassing moment in my life. Everyone was staring. It would be better if I actually interacted for real with these people. I could laugh it off, but I didn't and I couldn't.

"Sorry, Mrs Anderson," the both of us chorused and went back to writing in our notebooks.

"Miss Cameron, why don't you come up and explain to everyone how I did this," she said. Is it wrong to hate the elderly? I hate her.

"I wouldn't know. I haven't mastered that point of whatever that is yet, Mrs A." Whatever that is? Really?

"I just explained it," she deadpanned, glaring at me.

"I can't understand by just talking. I need proper explaining and reading, ma'am." I pursed my lips, hoping she would just leave it and me alone.

"Then you need a tutor, so you can get the proper explaining you so desperately need." I don't know if she was being sarcastic.

"What?! I do not need a tutor, Mrs Anderson. I'll get better. Nothing a few YouTube videos can't fix," I laughed awkwardly.

"Is that yelling I detect" oh no strike three she was going to send me to the principal's office, and she was going to request to see my father, who right now, I didn't know where he was "Go to the principal's office." I glared at the predictable witch and was about to stand up and walk out of the class when Alec caught my hand.
