The night came, Seokjin couldn't sleep, but she did. He looked in awe, how easily she fell asleep.

He took the rod from his side of the bed, and poked his back lightly with it. She didn't move.

He snickered a little, "You're too deep in sleep," He muttered, poking her a little more. "Don't," She moved her hand to slap away the rod.

Seokjin moved the rod away, "Are you asleep?" He asked, she hummed, making him sigh. "Don't sleep yet, I want to talk." She hummed again, annoying him.

"Yoona?"

She turned away, "How do you know my name, you stalker!" She threw the pillow at his head. He yelled again, "Not at my handsome face!" He threw the pillow back at her.

She scoffed, "What?" She asked, he stared at her for a second, "Let's talk." He said, having nothing at head.

"Let's go there." He said, she rolled her eyes, getting off the bed. He followed her out of the room.

They both sat on the seat, facing the night sky, Seokjin looked back at her, expecting her to start a conversation, shaking his legs when she didn't.

"What's your age?" He asked, she stared at the stars, "Twenty," She replied, he nodded, looking at his hands. "And why're you here?" She hesitated to answer that, still looking at the stars,

"Lung cancer."

He smiled lightly, "Same here," She glanced at him, finding it intimidating how easily he spoke of the disease. "Stage?" She asked, he looked above at the rising stars, a lump forming in his throat,

"Fifth." Her eyes softened, and she looked down at his shaky hands, he was trying hard not to panic, "Same," She muttered, making him look over.

"That's funny, how similar we are." He declared, a smile on his face. She scoffed, finding a reason to smile too.

"Yeah, kind of." She replied, shrugging with her shoulders. Seokjin smiled, "My surgery is tomorrow too, most probably after yours," She tilted her head,

"You're not lying, are you?" She asked, he glanced over, scrunching his nose. "I don't lie," He flared his nostrils.

"..I was always bullied for being sick, people called me sick and ugly,"

She started, pulling her knees to her chest. Talking about things like life, wasn't easy on Yoona, she felt weak and tired at times like this, as if she'll fall asleep anytime soon, but she said it anyway.

"That's awful. But not the same with me," Seokjin said, still staring at the stars, he moved his finger forward, moving it up and above, "That's a Taurus." He let her know, she looked up, nodding.

"My whole life, people cherished me, they consoled me—mostly because I was handsome, why would someone treat someone sick like me with care? They were nice only because I was handsome."

He snorted, finding it weird how people couldn't see his inner beauty, but were dependant on his outer one.

"My mom was always worried, and she always lied, that everything will be fine."

She looked over at him, "That's terrible, for her and for you. My parents are still hoping," He chuckled, shaking his head.

"They'll be disappointed after you die," He said, she looked up at him, squinting her eyes, "How're you so relaxed?" She asked, he shrugged.

"Because I know I'll die," He said, she nodded and hummed. "What's your name?" She asked, and he slapped the back of his head, "Oh, silly me. Hey, I'm Seokjin. Handsome face, handsome name."

She laughed a little, nodding. They went silent for a while, gazing at the stars, brightening the black sky. With just one jute of hope in their palms, they were being happy.

"Seokjin." She called out, making him hum. "What if I actually end up dying?" She asked, he glanced at her.

"If you end up dying, do anything but just don't haunt me," He laughed, making her roll her eyes. "Most probably, people will say you were a good person, cry for a few days, and move on." He shrugged.

"But you should never forget how precious you were. If I had a whole life ahead of me, I'd want reach every dream I could possibly ever dream of,"

He spoke honestly, "Then let's make a promise," She said, turning to him.

"That we'll never forget our importance, even after dying." He looked at her for a second, before nodding.

"We'll never forget our importance." They repeated, together.
