Ondreaz Lopez: Six Months with You

Welcome to L.A!

First Chapter

Dear diary, 

Today is the best day ever. I start on my six month journey. As you know, I am crowned princess of the beautiful kingdom of Asilo de Seguro. In six months my twin brother must step down from the throne for ten years which is when I will reign. No one knows my royal status on the other side of the world for security reasons. I’m on my way to America to join the hype house. My parents are very skeptical but at the end of the day I lose ten years of my life. Don’t get me wrong I love and I’m happy to serve my people but I’m only 19. The responsibility of an entire kingdom was going to be massive. I need to get out of here for a while.  This all started out when I suggested going abroad for my free six months. My parents said it was okay but I must support myself so I started a youtube channel and tik tok page. I think it’s going well. Now, I am on a very long flight to Los Angeles. One last rule from my parents is don't shame the family which should be easy right? 

I wore this.

After such a long plane ride I’m in Los Angeles, the city of Angels. The american airport security is very thorough and the airport is very confusing. I finally found a way out and I see a board with my name on it. Luna Fuego. Yes my name is moon fire in English. There are two guys here, whom I both recognize. It’s Thomas and Ondreaz from the hype house. I walked over to them.

Thomas: Hey Luna, great to meet you. He held out his hand and I didn’t know what to do. Thankfully he pulled it back. I guess it was a greeting. 
Ondreaz: Hey Luna, great to meet you in person. Welcome to L.A 
Luna: Is this not Los Angeles? Am I in the wrong state? I started to panic.
Ondreaz: No that’s just another name for it. Let’s get you to your new home shall we?
Luna: Yeah!

You should have seen the city, it was so amazing. My plane landed at one in the morning so the city was lit up. As I stared outside the window, I noticed Ondreaz kept peaking back at me.
Luna: Everything okay Ondreaz?
Ondreaz: I remember that feeling to see this city and realize you're about to live out your goals and dreams.
Luna: I feel free in this city full of talent and creativity.
Thomas: Hold on to that kiddo. 

I finally arrived at the hype house. As I came out of the car all I could do was stare up at the mansion. It was smaller than I’m used to. 
I walked in and admired the house. It reminded me of the east wing of my palace. I followed Thomas and Ondreaz upstairs to a room. They open up the door and the room is so small. Although it was going to be a rough adjustment this is what I wanted. I can make it work.
Thomas: This is your room, tomorrow we’ll be doing a photoshoot. 
Luna: Okay.
Ondreaz: Okay have a good night.
Luna: Goodnight
They leave my room and I facetime my parents. It’s eleven in the morning there.
Luna: Mom how are you? 
Mom: Beautiful dear. Did you arrive safe?
Luna: Yes and it is truly wonderful here.
Mom: You look so happy.
Luna: I am. Where is my papa?
Mom: He is right here waiting for you to ask about him. You know how big of a head he gets sometimes. I laugh as I hear my papa’s voice over the phone. 
Papa: Luna, you sound so happy.
Luna: I am, this is going to be a great adventure. I tell my parents all about the amazing things I’ve seen already. 
Papa: Well, get some princesa and remember this is only for six months your kingdom needs you. 
Luna: Lo se, deja que el fuego te guíe. ( I know, let the fire guide you)
Papa: Let the fire guide you. We love you.
I hung up the phone but I’m not tired because I haven’t adjusted yet. I put on my pajamas.
