A Love Letter for Him

My dearest Winter Bear,

Tomorrow is our wedding day and you asked me to make a time capsule right the night before. What are you, ten years old? (-_-)

You're lucky I love you.

Well . . . I don't know where to start, but I think I will write this letter to reminisce about our youth.

This is really awkward, Tae. Oh my God! But well, I'll just start.

To 50 years old Kim Taehyung . . .

Do you remember the first time we met?

That time I often saw you at the cafeteria. The popular Kim Taehyung, secretary of the student executive board in our faculty. You were so full of yourself back then, hanging around with your friends and being noisy.

It's not that I didn't like you and your friends, but you guys always made it hard for me to chat with my friends. I had to shout and that was really confining.

Speaking of your friends, I never expected your friendship to last even until the moment I write this letter. Well, we never know if it's really a lifetime friendship or not, but just in case, let me refresh your memories about them.

Namjoon, the head of the student executive board. He's the most clever and the wisest man I've ever met.

Seokjin, the frequent beauty pageants participant who always won as he's the epitome of tall, handsome and smart.

Yoongi, the keyboardist of the most popular band in the faculty. He's the cold one, but I always run to him whenever we have a fight. The way he talks makes me feel comfortable and you should thank him big time because he always makes me back to you.

Hoseok, the marvelous dancer who was often absent from class because of the international competitions. He's the sunshine of the group, he always brings the positive mood on the table.

Jimin, your best friend and soulmate. I would never win against him. But that's okay. I will do the same if I were you—I will never let go of his hands.

Jungkook, the handsome, docile, and the most favorite student for the lecturers. He is the embodiment of a golden kid, he is literally great at everything.

Do you miss college time, Tae? I miss it so, so much. Especially when I remember about us back in college. I miss the time when we developed feelings for each other. The feeling bloomed beautifully like a flower that we grew together.

Do you remember when you came to my friends and I to give an invitation for the campus event? I was completely unaware that you were trying to get my number at that time. We gave our numbers innocently because you said it would be needed for the registration. We were oblivious that other people didn't give their number to register. Yeah, you played it sweet, Kim Taehyung. You did.

You were texting me frequently asking if I had class, or questions about lecturers, quizzes, or anything related to lectures. All of the questions didn't make me suspicious that you were trying to enter my life. So when you asked me out of nowhere to go home with you, I was really dumbfounded. Thus I turned off the offer. We barely know each other, and you wanted to take me home. I mean . . . really?

But you never gave up until the right time for me to say yes. And you slipped into my life swiftly, got me unwittingly looking for your presence that already filled the puzzle of my heart. You paint my life using vivid colors and everything feels more alive when you are there.

So yeah, that was the beginning of our chapter.
