Ch. 2 The Sorting

~Fred's POV~

I look over at (y/n). She was sleeping calmly.

"Hey Freddie" I hear George say across from me.

"Yo?" I look back at George.

He smirks, "I think we're here. This year is gonna be great."

I nod and look back over at (y/n), "should we wake her?"

"Probably. You wanna do it or should I?"

"I guess I'll do it." I walk over to her and lightly shake her. She stirs a little. "Come on (y/n/n) get up we're here"

"Hmm? Wha-" I cut her off.

"We're at Hogwarts dammit now get up" I laugh a little.

"Fine fine fine I'm up I'm up."

~(Y/n) POV~

I stand up and stretch, "Thanks Freddie for waking me" I look between the twins, "oh you already changed.. I should probably go do that now" I grab my things and quickly run out the door. Shit shit shit imma be lateee.

**Time Skip brought by the Marauders Map**

Fred, George, and I followed Professor McGonagall along with all the other first years towards the Great Hall.

"(Y/n) pssst (y/n)" I heard someone whisper. I look over and see Fred and George quickly and quietly waving me over. I smile and walk towards them.

"What's up?" I whisper, looking around quickly, trying not to get caught.

"So" Fred starts.

"We were thinking" George continues as the twins share a look.

"Oh that's not good" I smile slightly, hoping they figure out I'm joking.

They laugh quietly, "anyway we have a shit ton of pranks planned" They said together. I raised my eyebrow and looked at them.

"And?" The boys looked at each other then back a me, a mischievous grin on both their faces.

"We want you-" Fred bit his lip slightly. Um what the fuck?? Why is he biting his lip.. I quickly brush it off and go back to listening.

"To join us in pulling them" George finishes for his brother. I looked at them wide eyed and nodded my head enthusiastically. Yes yes yes!!

Finally, McGonagall finished her speech and led us in. Time to get sorted!! I think to myself and try not to scream.

I zone out, not really caring much about who she's calling until I hear Fred's name, I look up and smile, giving him a reassuring thumbs up. McGonagall slowly goes to place the hat on his head, before it even touches his head it shouts, "GRYFFINDOR!" Fred smiles proudly as cheers and screams erupted from the Gryffindor table. Next up was George, the same thing happened with him. I waited patiently and watched the crowd slowly shrink.

"Cedric Diggory" I hear McGonagall say and I look up, recognizing the last name. McGonagall places the hat atop Diggory's head, the hall is deathly silently as we waited for the hats decision
