Hi, I'm the Author! I have been thinking about writing this story for quite a while, but they've been a lot of difficulties. I wanted everything to make sense, and I wanted everything to be a visible picture. Elma, the main character was also a bit of a struggle. I tried to give her a relatable personality, but she kind of just turned out to be like me...

Anyways, please no hate. I actually like critical criticism, but just being rude doesn't help. This story took me a long time and I really worked so hard on it. A single chapter took me a whole month to plan, write, and edit. I'm really hoping that this story will do good because I wrote it like a real book. My dream in my lifetime is to write and publish a book.

There won't be a lot of author's notes, maybe on about six to five chapters in the whole book... I'm just not very good at authors' notes (as you can tell), but I will be responding to comments. I would appreciate it if you vote for my story, but of course, you don't have to.

I'm planning to make a second book, but once I write that I'm not sure if there will be a third book. The second book (if I do make it) will be called The Shattered Diamonds.

You may see growth in the writing. This is because I wrote the first chapter like a year ago. Also, the first two chapters are quite slow. I wanted to get a map out of the story. I also wanted you to get an idea of her friends before...Well, you'll see.

Lastly, please do not copy my story. If you're inspired by my story please give me credit. And I think that's about it. I hope you enjoy the story and connect with the characters.
