Mikaela's POV

"ELF!" Kaia yells

"No! We watched that twice yesterday" Ashton refuses

"You're mean" She says pushing Ashton off his squatted balance

"How about Barbie Christmas Carol?" I suggest "You loved it last year"

"Im not a baby any more Kaela, Barbie is for babies" She explains

"Is that so?" Leia teases

"Why are you guys being so mean to me!" Kaia screams running up the stairs

"Well that ended well" Ashton laughs

"So much for a movie marathon" Leia laughs along

"WE'RE HOME!" Maia yells from the foyer closing the front door

"HI!" Kaia yells from her room making us all laugh

"Kaela can we talk to you for a minute" Weston asks emerging from behind the staircase

"Yeah" I reply instantly standing up from the couch in the living room and walking into the front room

"Dr Kalakaua called, they need you to go back in for a checkup" Weston informs me

"Again? I went 4 days ago" I whine

"Yes but they may have found something and they need to check it out" Maia says

"When?" I sigh

"Now, thats why we came home early but I have to do some research on a case I have so Maia will take you"

"Oh alright, let me just say goodbye to Leia"

"Okay, Ill be in the car come when you're ready" Maia tells me and walks out the house

I walk back over to the living room "Cya guys, Maia is taking me out for a bit"

"Omg no! Micky!" Leia cries

"Calm down L, i'll be back later" I say hugging her

"Okay bye, i'll miss you!"

"I'll miss you too, bye Ashton" I call walking to the coat closet

"Bye Mikaela," Ashton replies

I walk into the closet and take my emergency bag. Which is a duffel bag filled with some basic things. A jumpsuit, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, my favorite book 'Safe Haven', a towel, drink bottle and my laptop. I get to Maia's car and we start driving to the hospital. Driving down the mountain that the house is on, looking at the crystal clear waters and tropical trees swaying in the breeze. The drive is short. 10 minutes max so Maia parks her car in the regular patients area, takes my emergency bag and we walk into the reception.

"Mikaela, Maia, good to see you again" The old woman, Marge greets us

"You too Marge" Maia smiles "Dr Kalakaua called me, and said Mikaela needed a check up, so here we are"

"Oh of course, she should be here any second" Marge replies and in an instant my doctor runs in

"Mikaela glad you're here, did I make you wait?"

"Oh no not at all, we just got here" I smile

"Okay well lets go through and we can run a simple check up" Dr Kalakaua starts walking down a corridor with Maia by her side, talking to her about how it will be a short procedure which should take no more than two hours which within that time she can stay and wait or she may go. Of course, as usual she chooses to stay so that when I wake up she is right by my side holding my hand. "Okay, so it is an MRI scan just to check and then an x ray. Alright?" She asks, I nod and smile as I lay down on the stretcher that will reverse me back into the MRI Scanner. She gets Maia to leave the room and I close my eyes as I feel my body being moved into position, I suddenly become unconscious and am in a dreaming state. I don't see much just a pile of sand surrounded by open water, there is nothing in sight, just water and more water.
