The Brains and The Beast

Today was the day of your big presentation at work and you have been working on it for months ever since your boss gave it to you. You were deathly terrified on how it will go and you hope to calm yourself with a cup of tea. You had gotten out of bed and went to your kitchen to make some for yourself as well as play with your new kitten, the kitten was so cute you wish you can kiss and play with sasha all day, but you soon finish the tea and your food along with it then with in minutes you were soon running out of the door with your Laptop and small bookbag with all you need for the day as you ruh to work.

Your Pov: "this is going to go so wrong! what if i messed up on a slide? maybe i didn't write enough notes?! did i remember the background to it?....jeez this is going to kill me all day.." You sigh of your own worry and anxiety. All you could hear was your own thoughts you couldn't even hear you're co-worker talking with you before you heard snapping in your ear and  snapped out of your trance and looked at your co-worker "oh jeez! i'm sorry i was so in thought and-"

Co-Worker: "hey hey! it fine i understand isn't today your big show? because if so i would get it because the boss has done the same for me to help me get a promotion from him and i was stressed out for the months i was given to make it  but i did good so you will as well Y/N!" The co-worker said being happy and excited for you as she gives  your more of a pep-talk before going back to work

~The Next Few Hours~

Another worker came over to you to bring you to the presentation room as you follow and was breathing heavily being scared. The next hour that passed by of you in the room talking with your boss and other higher powers until there was a big crash coming from out of the room as there was screaming and running. The higher powers stayed in the room as you and the boss walked out of it to see what was happening.

Your Pov: The work area was completely trashed and the side of the room with a big window was shattered but the most thing that was scary was creepy looking women standing in the middle of the place as your boss walks over to her slowly trying to talk with her. He talked for a bit before you go and quickly tackle him to the ground jut in time before a katana came flying past your face  and landing on top of your boss. You soon hear a man come from behind you and was talking to the women calmly as if he knew her.

The situation was getting out out of control as the women attacked the man but he kept dodging and didn't hit back what so ever. The man looked over at you and asked if you can throw him that katana from before. You nod quickly before getting up and throwing it to him as he catches it in his hand then hold it up to the woman's neck having her stop completely in her track. The man knocks the women out with the back of the katana watching her fall on the floor and him picking her up then apologizing for the damage before leaving.

Everyone came back shortly after wondering what happened as you were about to talk but your boss told them all to forget about today and go home early. You and everyone did what he said and started to leave but you stayed behind so people didn't need to talk with you about what happened.

 Boss: "hey Y/N so um....today didn't go as expected..i'm sorry about risking your life and i'm sorry if you got hurt in any way i should have been a bit more smarter in that moment but i was worried for that woman's well being she seemed scared  and confused...then....something changed...like she left..." He shakes his head and rubs his head "maybe i'm just acting strange because i was scared for your safety ehehe...you should head home now and tomorrow on the phone we can talk about your presentation and how it can help with your raise"

Your Pov:  You nod and walk out of the office heading down the stairs then left the building feeling scared and worried on what happened  today. You go to the park that was open still as you walk in it to take a relaxing walk. Birds were flying and kids and families were having fun as you smiled seeing this reminding you of your family and all the good memories you had before...the dark times....After a while of walking you overhear two people arguing so you look around and see it was the same two people from before but the women seem calmed and almost...pouty?

Woman and Man: "i didn't deserve to be hit in the back of the head! You jerk!" The woman yelled at him 'You were out of control and almost killed another person while in your rampage plus you also attacked me and along those lines did almost a hundred dollars worth of damage from the damage you did on Kings Meadow street then at the house and along with that building of working people...your lucky that person threw katana at me to help you out so you have to thank them the next time you see them' He flicked her forehead before sighing and taking out his phone but soon the women disappeared out of nowhere

Your pov: You looked confused till you felt to hand on your shoulder and dragged you back into a pair of arm and all you could hear was the women from before saying 'Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!' You soon saw the man standing there watching and was laughing a bit 'Saffy thats not what i meant by what i said' The women pouts still holding you "Well you weren't specific Anthony! i thought this is what you meant!" They talk while leaving you in the supposed arms of 'Saffy' while the other 'Anthony' is being calm but has a big smirk. The only thing that comes to your mind is"What in the hell is going on today?!.."
