Chapter 6

LISA'S POV

I shifted a little on my bed as my eyes slowly fluttered opened , but the morning light that trickled in through the blinds made me to immediately close back my eyes while turning my body around , blocking the sun ray.I slowly sat up and stretch my arms above my head with a light groan.My eyes fell on the small clock on the table beside me and gladly it's still early before i need to go to work

For a moment , my mind was blank , but not until an image of yesterday suddenly flashed acrossed my mind.I chuckle and smile widely ,

A new day has begun

Today i woke up with a butterflies in my stomach , because from now on i'm living my life with jennie as my wife , my only one priority and my responsibility

I don't care no matter how much hate jennie was against this marriage , as long as she's officially hold my surname at the end of her name , i promise that i'll never stop myself from trying to make her live as the happiest woman in this earth ,

as long as i live

sliding myself down from the bed , i stood up and went outside , heading to jennie's room

I stop on my stance for a while in front of her bedroom's door , i couldn't hear anything from inside that made me to think that she's probably are still sleeping.i slowly opened the door and wandered my eyes around the room but weirdly it was empty.I frown slightly and walk inside

"Jennie?" I called her but didn't receive any respond afterwards.i get inside the bathroom and she's not there also

"Is she already going to college?" I mumble while closing back the bathroom door and leave the room as i went downstairs

All i can hear are only the sound of my breathing and every each of my footsteps that i made , and i'm now sure that i'm alone in this house.jennie wasn't anywhere , not in the kitchen nor in the living room

And the worst thing is , there's no breakfast for me

damn it i'm hungry

"Tsk..she really didn't cook anything for me?i'm starving here" i scoffed as the table was empty , not even a single bread are there

And not to mention that i can't cook too

I don't want to burn our kitchen at the first day of us staying here so it's better if i keep myself away from it.sighing heavily , i head back to my room and decide to just prepare myself for work , maybe i'll just tried to find a time to eat later

Such a pity , i didn't get to taste my wife's cook at the first morning of our marriage...

JENNIE'S POV

"Jennie!how could you do that?!"

"Ouc– yah!" I glare with a pout while holding my arm , trying to soothing the pain after jisoo hardly slap my arm

"I'm sorry okay?i was rushing and forgot to make a breakfast for her.beside it's not like she couldn't make it by herself right?" I said , but these two girls keep her death glare on me

"Don't you know that lisa can't cook?" Irene sigh with her hands on her hips

"She can't cook?how do you know?" I asked confusely

"Everyone knows that" jisoo rolled her eyes

"you need to get to know her better jennie.you are her wife now , like it or not , you must do your responsibility as her wife" irene said firmly , showing her disappointed face at me.i pursed my lips and slowly nodded
