bad dream - Bang Chan

It's 2:26am. You and Chan were asleep in your shared bed. Suddenly you wake up from hearing steps coming near your bedroom door and soft sniffles could be heard. You sit up and could see the door opening quietly. Your 4 year old son Min walked inside, wiping his tears. "Min? What's wrong, why are you crying?" You whispered approaching the little boy pulling him in a hug.

"I...I had a bad dream mommy...there were monsters and everything was dark and you and daddy disappeared and I was alone in the dark with the bad monsters" the little boy explained to you, still sniffling. "Ssh~ it's okay Baby...we're not leaving you we're still here" you kisses his head, pulling him in another hug. By the time, Chan woke up too. "What's wrong?" He asked you, walking to you and your son.

"He has a bad dream in which we disappeared and he was alone in the dark with monsters" you explained. Chan picked Min up, wiping his tears away carefully. "How about I'll make you some warm chocolate milk with marshmallows and then you'll stay with us and mommy and daddy will protect you from the bad monsters?" He asked the little boy and he immediately nodded. That being said, the three of you walked into the kitchen, making some warm chocolate milk with mini marshmallows for Min.

Around 10 minutes passed where you sat in the kitchen together, waiting until the little boy finished his chocolate milk. Once he did, you put his cup in the sink while Chan carried Min back to your bedroom. You followed them lying back down again, your son laying between the both of you. You put your arms around the for year old and closed your eyes, almost immediately drifting back to sleep, when you felt a strong arm wrap around you and Min. "I love you my little angels" you heard your husband whispering until falling asleep again.
