Hi my name is Camryn Johnson, I'm 16 years old and live in an apartment with my mom April, my "twin" Ty, and my nephew Sebastian. We're both adopted, inseparable since we were 2 1/2 says mom. Ty is my best friend in the whole entire world, he gets me. For fake twins, we look a lot alike. Dark brown thick curly hair, fair complexion, both slim. Except, I have the hazel eyes, while Ty has these bright blue pools for eyes. Ty is only a month older than me, and he rubs that in my face all the time. Growing up though, he has found trouble and disappointment everywhere. I can't count how many times I have seen him bruised up and sobbing. Kids at school love teasing him for being adopted. People can be so mean sometimes.
" Your mom and dad didn't love you enough to keep you hahaha "
" Must've been so hungry and poor, they traded you for bread "
My mom is consistently comforting him, holding him, wiping tears, cleaning cuts. She's the best really. No matter how hard or long her day is, she always has a delicious dinner on the table for us, clean home, roof over our head, most importantly love. She works in an office obtaining authorizations for chemo. She's the supervisor of her office, loves her job, has an amazing team, and more importantly excels at it. With the work duties, her days are mostly spent at the office. That's okay though, Ty and I know how to cook dinner, don't mind being alone and sometimes invite friends to stay the night. Everyone says their mom is the best, but mine truly is. Mama has always allowed us to try and experience new things, trusted us to make our own decisions. Always came to support us with anything and everything we did. I did horse back riding for a month, Ty took on football for about 6months, I tried band for 5 months, Ty did soccer for a year, I've been in choir for 5 years, Ty took on painting 2 years ago, it stuck for him. No matter what though, she was always in a chair, on the bleachers, in the cafeteria supporting us.
Ty is an amazing brother, and father too. Yeah, he has a little boy, Sebastian Johnson. He's about 7months old, cutest little baby in the whole wide world. Ty met this beautiful girl, Anya, they dated for about 2 years. The breaking point for them was she loved attention, men, and making herself the damsel in distress. She played the woe is me card, claiming Ty forced her to get pregnant, but he told me he wasn't ready when they did it. She took his virginity, found out she was pregnant, became the most popular girl, while Ty was struggling to cover finances for her and the doctors appointments. Our mom was supportive, Anyas parents told her to set the baby up for adoption, or give him to us. She refused, she wanted to keep her baby, but after finding out the sex, she decided adoption was the best option. So, Ty made sure he used his parental rights and adopted the baby. Anya doesn't have to visit, pay child support, nothing. She doesn't even call or text to see how Sebastian is doing. We don't even know if she'll see him for his first birthday. He's a good baby too, very quiet, not fussy. Mom adores him, and spends way too much on him. He stays in moms room, she took on the grandma and mom role for baby S. Her hours at work allow her to come in at 10AM, so she lets Ty and I sleep in our rooms so we can get enough sleep for school, while she's up with the baby. We believe she's obsessed with 'Bastian because she couldn't have a baby of her own." Mom, we're leaving! Bye bastian !!! " I spoke sweetly, as Ty and I were heading out. Time for school, my classes are nice, simple, easy. " At least it's Friday, I'm so over this week, and I'm in need of a 3 day weekend " Ty sighed out with relief, as we headed to his car. " Same dude, once my concert is over tonight, I am free to be as lazy as I want this weekend! " I said exaggerating on the lazy. " Oh yeah! Are you gunna be able to come ? Did ya get the time off ?! " I questioned him excitedly, watching him as he was driving. " I have good news and bad news cam " Ty sighed out somberly, keeping his focus on the road. I felt my smile slowly fall down, but still watching him. " I didn't get the time off for tonight " Ty said softly, still avoiding eye contact. " They scheduled me right after school, until 6pm. So I can still make it in time even after washing me and Sebastian up " Ty beamed, watching my frowning face lighten up. " That's not funny, I knew it " I stated confidently, peeking to see if he was laughing. " Goofball " Ty teased, as we pulled to a stop light. " Ugh 6:57Am, can we please get some coffee, my treat this time, I swear " I sighed out sweetly, while pointing at Dunkin Donuts. " Fine, you owe me a bagel " Ty sighed out defeatedly as we pulled into the Dunkin Donuts drive thru line. About 5 minutes past, we were sipping on our coffees, eating our breakfast, still on our way to school. Today's going to be a good day.
