Jennie sighed after the call ended. Jennie and Taehyung started dating 5 months ago. She looked at her ring finger, that was still ring-less.
Yes, maybe it was a bit too soon for marriage but Jennie knew she would stay with Taehyung forever.
She laid down on the bed, "our first valentines day, and we're not going to be together"
Jennie started thinking about what Taehyung said.
"an idea? I wonder what that dork is planning"
'he can't come here because all the buses and trains aren't working.. Maybe video call?'
It's been about 1 hour since Taehyung called Jennie.
Jennie was still laying on her bed, when she got a call from her mother.
You see, Jennie had stayed with her family the whole time, but everyone decided it was best for her to stay in a hotel while the train station starts working again.
"hi eomma, how are you?"
"hello sweetie, there is a youn-"
Jennie heard someone whisper something, right after she heard a bark.
"eomma, is there a dog there?" Jennie asked worried, her appa was scared of dogs.
"ahahah no, don't be a silly girl. Like I was saying.. There- AHHH"
Jennie flinched from the loud scream that came from the phone.
It was her dad's scream.
"eomma?! Are you okay? Is appa-"
"GET YO FUCKING DOG BITCH"
"it don bite"
"YES IT DO"
The call ended right after. Jennie was shocked. "what in the world?" and was that Taehyung?!
She got off the bed and ran to put on her shoes and coat. She ran outside, sweat running down her forehead. There was still light outside. Once she got on the sidewalk she started scanning the road for any taxi's.

"of course. Great now my dad might get attacked by a dog and the dog will be sent away to an adoption center and eomma will be-"
Jennie's ranting was stopped when she heard her phone ring. It was her mom, again.
She answered at the speed of lighting.
"eomma! Is appa okay? I'm coming over right no-"
She heard her mom shush her.
"aish girl. Let me speak. Me and your appa are okay. There is no need to come. Please stay in your room, you will have a guest over very soon. I love you Jennie, stay safe and make sure to eat. Bye bye"
Before Jennie could answer, her mom hung up. She was out of breath from all the running.
She walked back Inside the hotel.
"special guest? Who in the world is going to come at..." Jennie checked her watch. "who in the world is going to come at 8 pm?"
Once she was on her floor, she opened the door and took off her shoes. She yeeted herself on the bed.
She felt sweaty. "well, this bitch gonna go shower"
Jennie didn't want to look all sweaty in front of her unexpected guest.
She got in the shower, letting the warm water wash off all the dirt.
After a few minutes she got out, she didn't know when the guest would come so she wanted to get ready quickly.
She settled on a white Supreme shirt, and some cute navy colored pants. She wore some black high heels and fixed her hair a bit.

She looked herself in the mirror. "is this too much?" she looked at herself, debating on whether she should keep the heels on or off.
She was about to take them off when she heard a knock.
She got nervous, she had no idea who this person was.
Was she gonna get killed? No no.. Her mom knows who it is, it's probably an old friend.
Jennie looked herself in the mirror one last time.
She walked to the door and unlocked the door, she put her hand on the handle.
"here goes nothing"
She opened the door.
