Gilbert R. Walter let out a sigh, grabbing a holopad pulling it free from the shelf. It was his records from when he joined the resistance group called Falconers. He couldn't remember what happened according to those he's met in what appeared to be an infirmary, about an hour ago, he had ended up with amnesia after sustaining a severe hit to the head. Gil sat down at an empty table before pressing what appeared to be the activation button on the side of the holopad. A picture of himself came up. He had pale skin, dark cyan eyes and black ruffled hair parted to the right side covering most of his face however the left side was short, unlike the right side. Skimming through the holopad the black-haired man saw what appeared to be two other men who may have been his friends. A strike of pain shot into those cyan eyes as he put a now shaking hand to his bandaged head. A voice spoke up from behind Gil it was a man in the Falconers uniform with jaw length brown hair he said, his voice was kind and slightly carefree" you know you shouldn't be up." Gil looked back quickly only to regret it as he held his head his vision swimming slightly from the sudden movement.
The man quickly rushed to Gilbert's side, worry filling his hazel eyes as Gil refused to acknowledge him. The pain started to fade as Gil asked, his voice strained" w-who are you?" The man stated, after moving back a step" so they weren't lying you really don't remember anything." The black-haired man picked up the holopad before standing up regretting it as the room spun violently resulting in the man starting to fall. The brown-haired male said, catching Gil before he could hit the ground" alright Gil time to get back to bed before you get yourself hurt." The man wrapped an arm around Gil's waist while putting Gil's arm over his shoulder to keep Gilbert upright as he said" I'm Tobias Owen most call Toby though." Gil just gave a grunt as he closed his eyes feeling like he was going to be sick at even the slightest movement. By the time the two men reached a room off to the side of the complex, Gil looked as if he were almost asleep on his feet. That is if you were further away however if you were close you could see he was panting and paler than normal.
Toby asked, worry filling his tone as he felt the faint tremors through the smaller man's body" Gil, hey Gilbert can you hear me?" When he didn't get a reply Toby opened the door to the room sweeping Gil off his feet and taking him over to the only bed in the room. He laid the shorter down as gently as he could before rushing out of the room with a panicked look in those hazel eyes. Gil rolled onto his side curling up as he slowly sank into a nightmare free slumber. Toby came back into the room with a doctor at his heels the doctor said, as she went to Gil's side" I told him to rest when I discharged him I should have him locked in his room for not listening to me." She put a tan hand up to the pale man's neck checking his pulse before saying" well his pulse is stable-" She pulled out a pin light before shining it into the man's pupils as she let out a sigh before her hand got swatted away with a groan. She said, running a hand through her red hair" it appears it was just a dizzy spell Toby I'm putting you in charge of this troublemaker." Toby went to protest before those blue eyes glared at him while she spoke in a harsh tone" don't argue with me Tobias or I will have to watch him until I feel certain he's not going to do anything stupid."
Toby spoke, his tone turning somewhat harsh unlike his carefree tone" so Michael how much do you think he remembers, and if he's changed at all." Michael turned to the man pulling out three bottles of pills saying, as she put timer caps on them" firstly these are his medications the caps on them will release a pill when he needs them. Make sure he takes each of them or else I will make you regret it that's a damn promise. Secondly, he needs plenty of rest if I see him up you will be hearing from me. Finally to answer your question from what we've found out after insuring he'll heal without the assistance of medical equipment is that he's forgotten about the war. He remembers his past however he only has few if any memories of anything that's happened. So if that's the case I would say there's a pretty good chance his personality has reverted back to what he once was like. The only ones who know of how he once acted are Commanders Marcus Alton and Leonard Vermont good luck getting information out of them they're cold-hearted assholes ever since this damn war started."
Toby let out a sigh running a hand through his brown hair worry in his eyes before stating, his brows furrowing" damn it so only time will be able to tell us what Gil's reaction will be. I suppose the only thing we can do is hope that he won't remember anything until the end of this war the less he knows the better it will be for us." Michael said, letting out a short humorless laugh" good luck with that Toby however I'm staying out of it, after all, I'm nothing more than one of the neutral medical personnel I heal anyone in need which reminds me I will be taking my leave now." She picked up the bag she brought with her waving goodbye she left the sleeping commander and Toby behind her with a grim look in her eyes as she took one last look at Gilbert.
