Chapter 1: The mysterious meet-up

Nathan

The cold air hit me like someone slap me across the face. Making my cheeks turn a shade of red. I pull my jacket closer to my body to keep me from freezing. I quicken my pace since I was stupid enough to not bring a thicker coat. My eyes roam around the streets of London as my eyes landed to a grocery store.

I sigh in relief once I enter the warm yet cozy store as I rub my hands together to keep it warm. I looked around me as I notice that theres only a few people around. Just an elder reading some newspaper and a woman with a child as she struggle to put the things she needed in the basket.

I pick up a basket since Im out of food and roam around the store to keep me occupied.

As I was looking for Cheerios, I bumped into someone making the box of cereal she was holding drop on the floor.

"Im so sorry. I wasn't looking and...." I started to apologize as I bent down to grab her cereal.

I didn't realize she bend down to grab her cereal as well when our hands touch and I felt this thing I never felt before ever since that incident.

I looked up to the person I clumsily bumped into and I was met with a pair of ocean blue eyes that seem to caught me off guard as how beautiful they look.

I was in a trance that I never want to get out off. It seems like she had this spell on me the moment our eyes met. As I stood up mesmerize by the figure standing in front of me.

I stutter an apology as soon as I uttered the word that never seemed to leave my lips, I handed her the cereal box and walk away.

Heading to the counter I grabbed my wallet and paid the bill. Soon as I step out of the door, felt a sigh of relief and went on my way.

Taylor

I grabbed my phone and jacket and quickly put on my jacket before stepping out of my house, bidding a goodbye to my cats Meredith and Olivia before closing the door behind me.

The cool breeze instantly met my skin as I plugged in my earphones and walked slowly towards the grocery store just a few blocks away from my house.

I bobbed my head into the music as I listen to 'Do You Know?' By Enrique Iglesias.

I reach the grocery store as the song ended and quickly got in.

Went straight to the isle where cereals were stock. I grab a box of 'Lucky Charms'.

I turn around to face the direction where I was suppose to go then suddenly I bump into a guy, making the cereal that I was holding drop on the floor.

"Im sorry. I wasn't looking and......" he started to apologize as I bend down to grab my cereal. As I was about to grab the cereal box I felt his hand brush against mine. Sending shivers ran down my spine leaving me speechless and utter shock.

I stood up as soon as he apologize but as soon as I was about to reply he turned and walked away leaving me standing there like a statue.

I brush off the butterflies on my stomach and walked away like nothing happened.

Arriving at my house. My two cats rush over and instantly purr on my leg. I carried Olivia in my arms and told her about the events that happened beforehand.

Seeming to understand what I was saying she sat on my lap and I pet her head.

Minutes later, I stood up, brought the cereal to the pantry and sat on the sofa.

The uneasy feelings still lingering in my head. Shrugging the thought away.

As I was walking. I was still in a deep trance wandering around the ocean blue eyes that I saw.

Asking myself, Who the heck is she?, then the curiosity engine started turning.

Putting question in my head and making me go clueless.

As I reach the apartment I was living in. I took the first flight of stairs making my way to the third floor. Walking straight to my room and grabbing the door key.

As soon as I turned the knob I felt her hand the same way I felt mine touch hers. As I open the door I walked straight to the bedroom and stripped and change my clothes.

I flopped in my bed, still reminiscing about the incident and suddenly, out of nowhere, I stood up and, really wanting to know her name. I was dumbfounded to think that I didn't even muster up a little courage to ask her name. I was restless, regretful and on top of that, I couldn't get a wink of sleep.

My mind was occupied by the girl who captured my eyes unintentionally.
