Black.
I was surrounded in darkness, not a light in sight.
I have no idea what's going on - all I can hear is the loud voices around me. The chants of my name, the pleads for me to keep breathing.
But I am breathing? At least I thought I was.
I tried my hardest to respond - to do anything, but nothing would cooperate with me. Nothing would move. Not my toes, my fingers, not even my eyebrows. I was limp in this bed staring into complete an udder darkness.
How did I get here?
"Harry? Can you hear me?" I've never heard that voice before. It was a woman definitely, her voice was soft - angelic as she talked to me. She seemed close by and I tried to reach for her - only resulting in me growing angrier because I couldn't move. I could hear her, but I couldn't respond.
How do I respond?
"Harry you have to keep breathing" There we go again with the breathing plea. I was breathing - couldn't they see that? I could feel my chest rising and falling, I didn't even feel light headed. "Harry wake up!" I felt a pair of hands roughly shaking my shoulders, but I still couldn't do anything. All I could do was lay there limp and listen to some girl plead for me to stay alive. "Doctor he's coding!"
Doctor? I was in a hospital?
Suddenly I felt a jolt of energy serge through me. It felt like my skin was being ripped off and all I wanted to do was scream, but I was still mute. Laying there enduring the shock after shock they delivered to me. Was this hell? Is that where I am? Is this the part where I live the rest of my days in torture?
"Wake up" As soon as the serge burned through me again my torso lifted off the mattress harshly and I was finally able to open my eyes. Bright lights blinded me and I wanted nothing more than to cover my face with my hands, but they remained motionless at my sides. "Oh my god he's awake" My vision was blurry as I looked back and forth. I couldn't make out anything, only objects - the outlines at least. "Harry look at me" My eyes followed that voice. The same voice that called out to me earlier, but I couldn't find her. I didn't know what was what in this room, only being able to see the objects outline. My eyes began to burn harshly and I blinked a couple times, hoping to wash away some of the blurriness.
As I wished, the light that was currently blinding me was now covered as a figure stood above me. Again I blinked a couple times washing away some of the fog as I looked up at them. A pair of blue eyes staring down at me. Her blonde hair hung down from her head encasing us in this moment as I just stared at her. She was unlike anything I'd ever seen, she looked so much like a goddess and I wanted nothing more than to reach up and touch her, but my eyes began failing me. My eyelids falling down slightly as I tried my hardest to stay awake. To look at her.
"Harry don't go back to sleep" I wanted to respond, I wanted to force myself to stay awake, but I was losing this battle. I knew that the second my eyes closed and I could no longer hear her voice or feel her touch.
I was alone again, enveloped in the darkness, in a dreamless sleep.
