"Who's that?" Jen asks her mom as there was a knock at the door and Jen was confused at who could be knocking on their door now.
"I don't know" Jen's mom, Alicia says just as confused as Jen was
Jen hears her mom crack open the door and then heard a gasp, Jen rushes down the stairs and stops, she had a surprise look on her face. She knows who it is.
He's really here! Jen says to herself tears start to slowly run down her face. Little did Jen know, that knock would change all feelings.
"Why are you here?" Alicia asks her ex boyfriend, Jen's dad, while all she hears in her head are the words that changed her daughters life, and all of the things that he said to her when he found out about the pregnancy.
"I'm here because I want to start over. I made a mistake and I want to fix and and spend my life with both of you." All Alicia wanted to do was to slam the door in his face and yell at him to go away, but she didn't, Jen wanted to run upstairs and cry, of all the things her mom told her about him and his horrible behavior and about how she was unwanted by him.
Alicia, even though she doesn't want to, let's him inside. "Jen you're gonna be late for school, you should go."Jen's mom said quietly.
Jens makeup is already messed up because of crying so much, in the little bit of time her dad was there.
On Jens way out she walked past her dad, Luke shoving him out the way. "Bye mom and bye... Dad" she sarcastically, looked back one more time and went to school
