Time is Not On Our Side

the start of someone new

          Sadie Reyes was born on March 29, 2009, at 02:21 a.m. She was about seven pounds when born. Sadie was born at Diamond Grove Crest Hospital in Los Angles. Her father's name is Grayson White, as for her mother who knows. Sadie's mother left her at birth with Grayson and never came back. Sadie's name came from a show that her father used to watch, Sadie was the name of the character that her father liked the most. Sadie was Latinx, she didn't know where her mother came from but she knew that her father was from Jalisco, Mexico. As for the rest of the family on either side, no one knows, they all distanced themselves from Grayson because they knew it wasn't gonna work.

          Fast forward two years, Grayson began gambling and drinking hardcore. Sadie had a nanny named Sammy Jo. He was a great caretaker towards Sadie, he would play with her made sure she was properly cared for when her father was drunk. He had all the great qualities a caretaker should have. One night Sammy Jo had made plans to go hang out with his boyfriend and left Sadie to her father (which at the time Sammy Jo didn't know he was drunk he seemed sober). Sammy Jo left the house and Sadie seemed perfectly fine and happy. Little did he know that she wasn't gonna be fine at all. Grayson had bought a bunch of beer the night before because he was going to watch a big soccer game by himself. He had the alcohol ready for himself. It was game time and he had already had finished a six-pack of Corona. As half-time was soon up Grayson got up and tripped up on one of Sadie's toys and he went completely ballistic. All of a sudden Sadie's arm had blood rushing out of her arms... He threw one of the beer bottles and her and it cut her arm. The next day Sammy Jo came in and saw Sadie's arm and asked Grayson about it. Of course, he lied and said she tripped over a bottle and cut herself.

          Sammy Jo asked Grayson if he could take her to get it examined at the hospital. Grayson denied that offer and then left for his job. Which at that time he was a realtor at this housing company. (He used to be amazing at this job and made a lot of money up until he wasted all his money on gambling). Sammy Jo being the great nanny he is decided to take her anyway and would worry about the bills later. Sadie and Sammy Jo arrived at the hospital they were checked in and met up with a doctor. The doctor's name was Dr. Murphy and she came into the room and asked what was wrong. Sammy Jo explained what Grayson said and afterward she examined Sadie's arm. She said that she was going to end up with scars on her arm because of how deep the cut was. Those scars will forever remain on Sadie's arm.
