my parents had invited my family over, and the best part was that my favorite cousin was coming over, alejandro. he was the only cousin i had my age that i could talk to at family parties, quinces, reunions, ect. a while back he invited me to sleep over with his friends and i said sure. what i didn't know was there wasnt even ONE girl. so yeah you could say it was awkward that day.
but, i found one of his friends attractive. we talked the whole night and we exchanged numbers. alejandro rlly didn't want me to get with any of them because he said they would just talk to me then drop me. honestly, i believed it at first, until i got to know mattia better.

eventually alejandro got here, and we were just hanging out in my room.
"wait hold on mattia's calling, wait a sec," alejandro told me.

"your dating MATTIA?...out of all people MATTIA?" alejandro said confused.
"listen, you don't know the whole story. we started to get interested in each other the day you invited me over, and since then he always tells me nice things. yes every now and then we pick on each other but we're just playing. he's always been so good to me since then...so why is it such a big deal ale? if we end up breaking up that doesn't mean you guys need to stop being friends? break ups happen and that doesn't mean you have to drop him."
"okay, i can't stop you from liking him. but why couldn't you just tell me?" he asked.
"because i wouldn't know how you were gonna react...i'm sorry. i was gonna tell you tomorrow. mattia wanted both of us to go to his house tomorrow and i was gonna tell him it would he perfect timing to tell you," i explained.
he understood, and was okay with it now. mattia asked me if i was okay, and that if he could come over to my house. i told him to sneak in through the window because telling my parents...was DEFINITELY for another day.
mattia texted me saying he was outside. "ale i'll be right back." i said. i lived in a one story house so it wasn't so difficult to sneak outside. it was around 11:30 at night, alejandro and i's parents were basically yelling out spanish songs. nothing new.
he was outside his car and i ran to him. i hugged him and kissed him. "hi princess," he says. "he's good with it? like for sure, for sure?" he asked looking down at me. "yeah, he said it was fine" i told him as he put his hands on my waist. he started laughing looking at the window. i look back confused, and see ale flipping him off. i laughed as mattia flipped him off back.
"you're so lucky he isn't out here, he would've stood between us" i laugh. "mmm yeah i would do anything just to simply make out with you so-" ."MATTIA" i cut him off. "what its the truth" he chuckles.
