Chapter 7

JENNIE'S POV

I woke up early than usual today.since i've made lisa starved yesterday , i need to prepare a breakfast for her to make sure she won't starve herself again before i go to college.beside if she faint or if there's any bad things happened to her i'm sure i'll be the one to blame

I put on my apron as i tied my hair into a messy bun to make sure it won't get into my way while i'm cooking.i pursed my lips while my finger are on my chin , thinking about what should i cook

"Well let's just make a simple one.." i mumble and started to cook , thankfully i have talent in cooking or else my father and me will be starving to death after my mom passed away

"Jen?" i heard a hoarse voice coming from behind.i tilted my head to the side and glance at lisa , who has her eyes half closed while rubbing her eyes with her knuckles as she look at me with a furrowed eyebrow

"Hey , i'm preparing your breakfast" i said without looking at her.She stood beside me with her palm rest flat on the counter and look at me with a tease look

"My wife cook a breakfast for me?" She smile mischievously

Here she goes again ,

I look at her with a glare and grip tightly on the knife beside me.Seeing the shining ray reflected on the knife , she laugh nervously and take a step back before she cleared her throat , and excuse herself to take a shower as she quickly ran to upstairs.I chuckle slightly and turn my gaze back on the food

Remembering about what irene told me yesterday , she's actually right.No matter how much i opposed this marriage , i already hold the responsibility as lisa's wife , so i need to face with it

Only for one year jennie..you can do this..

I'm still wondering if lisa is actually willing on this marriage or she was also as forced as me

I mean , i'm still not sure if she's still has feelings for me after 2 years of we haven't seen each other , so i don't want to make any assumption

While i was placing the food on the table , just in time lisa was also walk inside here , already wearing her formal attire for work.she gaze down on the food and i smile proudly when i see her drooling over my cooked.She sit on the chair and i hand her the plate

"Looks good" she grin

"My food won't disappoint you" i smirk , earning a light giggles from her

"I think i want to try to cook someday" lisa said while munching the food

"You can , but don't take the risk by doing it in our kitchen because i'm scared you would burn down the whole house afterwards" i said trying to tease her.She pout slightly and sent me a playful glare

"When are you going to college?" She asked

"i still have much time left but i'll go after you leave for work"

"I'll drop you off" she suddenly said that made my eyebrow to rose

"What?"

"I'll send you and pick you up when you get back later"

"no , i can–" she immediately cut me off by shaking her head.She wipe her mouth with a napkin and stood up before she spoke

"No you need to listen to me , now go upstairs and prepare yourself" she said with her back facing me.I scoffed and crossed my arms as my eyes narrowed in a glare while looking at this creature in front of me that's now washing the dishes

"Are you my mom or what?"

She turned her head and look at me with an innocent smile "i'm your wife" she said and replaced the smile with a glare before she turn back her head to the sink.i rolled my eyes and stomped my feet while walking to my room
