I spent hours slashing my sword through robotic dummies in the back of the Ubuyashiki estate. I needed more power in my swings since I lacked that a bit. I’m supposed to meet up with Mitsuri and Shinobu soon because they wanted to go and buy yukatas for us for the festival.

I stopped swinging my sword, and went inside the mansion to check up on things. Everything seemed to be fine until Amane walked out of Ubuyashiki’s room with a distressed face. I raised a brow and jogged up to her.

“Amane, what’s wrong, is everything okay?” I asked, worried as shit now. Is something wrong with Ubuyashiki? His condition does seem like it’s growing worse. Shit shit shit.

She slightly shook her head. “Nothing too bad (Y/N), it’s just that we ran out of some of the lotion we use, and everyone seems to be very busy at the moment-“

“I’LL DO IT! I’LL GET IT!” I yelled.

“But aren’t you busy with training? You really don’t have to, I was going to go up for it-“

Before she said anymore, I stopped her and put my fist on my chest. “Training can wait if Oyakata needs anything, he comes first, you can keep him company when I go, plus, I’m waayyy faster than you, I’ll be back soon with it!” I smiled. Amane returned the smile, bowing and thanking me. I stopped her from bowing and reassured her it was all fine.

Writing me what lotion he needed, I took it and went off on my way.

It turns out it really wasn’t a far walk at all, just a few miles from here. Plus, I have PLENTY of time to meet up with Shinobu and Mitsuri, it’s not even the afternoon yet.

I’m also not lonely, my crow, Yogan, decided to come along too, sitting on my shoulder.

Yogan wasn’t the nicest crow, if anything he was a troublemaker to the say the least. He didn’t get along with other crows whatsoever, but he does have a cool scar on his left claw.

Finally walking up to the booth, I ordered the lotion, telling the man behind the counter that it was for Ubuyashiki. He quickly nodded his head, going back to grab it. Before he came back I heard a ‘Caw’ type of sound. It’s a crow? Are there any demon slayers over here too?

I looked around, seeing no one else in a uniform. That’s a bit odd. My thoughts were interrupted by the man sliding a bag of lotion with a nice red ribbon on it. I thanked him, and gave him the money.

Before I could go off on my way, more of the familiar sounds from before were heard. Am I hallucinating, or..? I gave Yogan a look, in to which he nodded, also hearing the sound.

I followed the noises, being led to a dark alleyway. The culprit making the noises was in fact a crow, but it was in a cage?! What was it doing in there? Was a demon slayer fed up with it?

I hurried over to the cage, examining the crow. It wasn’t dangerous, was it? Yogan seemed annoyed with me, and opened the cage himself. I flew back on my ass, getting ready to be attacked. I looked over at the two crows, Yogan seemed to have facepalmed with his wing.
