A Railgun In Fairy Tail, The Soul Slayer Chronicles: Book 6, Love

Only My Railgun..

Mikoto felt.. cold.. and injured... She could see a faint light through her eyelids as she lay upon the floor, cold.. all around her, she could feel an amazing amount of reishi.. spirit particles were coming out of everywhere.. and she could feel the spiritual pressure of hundreds of hollows and Arrancar within the vicinity.. it all felt so familiar......

She knew this feeling.. it was the same feeling that she had in her body after her final fight with Ulquiorra.. as if.. as if it had only just happened..

Somebody was shaking her shoulder and calling her name.. somehow.. somehow she knew that voice.

"Mikoto!! Mikoto wake up!!!"

Mikoto's slipped open just a creak... and she was able to make out Natsu looking down at her, grinning. "Hey! How are ya!?"

"N-Natsu.." Mikoto murmured. "I-I don't feel the Lance in me anymore.."

"Everything was reversed!!" Natsu said. "It's like nothing happened at all!! You never became the Lance.. except with a couple of changes.."

Natsu held up a controller looking device.. a device Mikoto recognised as the device Asgawrath had used to have the Sisters dig the Lance out of her subconscious. The device was burned and torn apart.

Asgawrath was kneeling in the middle of the strange room.. a room that Mikoto remembered was in the center underneath Las Noches.. they really were back..

"You.." Asgawrath growled. "YOU DARE!!!"

"Yeah.." said Mikoto. "I dare...No matter what you do.... you're never going to have me.. GET IT!!?"

"So that's how it's going to be.." Asgawrath growled. "So.. if I can't have the Lance of Gungnir.. then it appears I have no choice... If the Omegaverse cannot be mine.. then I will have one last laugh... Because you have rejected my love Mikoto Misaka.. I shall use the last of my power to destroy your puny planet you call Earth!!!"

Asgawrath rose to his feet, gasping, and coughing up black blood as he did.. "In the center of Academy City.. there lies a Source, which Aleister Crowley has kept hidden from the entire world.. it is the Source of Academy City that was created by both Aleister and Captain Kurotsuchi... a device that has slowly gathered the energy from all Espers and Magicians on the planet... one touch of dark power from me.. and the human race is good as extinct!!"

Asgawrath began walking forward.. but suddenly a lightning bolt exploded in his path as Mikoto stood up in her torn black shirt and blue shorts.. the clothes she had worn in the aftermath of going Vasto Lorde against Ulquiorra.

"If you think me and Natsu are going to let you leave this room.." Mikoto growled as her wings burst to life. "Then you've got another thing coming!!"

Natsu grinned as he activated his flame gauntletts.. "Couldn't have said it better myself!!"

Asgawrath's eyes burned with fury.. He turned into a massive beastly shadown and made to ram Natsu and Mikoto out of the way.. but as he did.. Mikoto opened her mouth. "ROAR OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!"

The massive beam of lightning blasted Asgawrath back.. and Asgawrath choked up more blood..  That's when Mikoto realized.. by using a an unsubmissive Lance for as long as he did.. Asgawrath had severely injured himself... they might actually stand a chance.

"NATSU QUICK!!" Mikoto screamed. "We have to hit him with everything we've got!!"

Natsu nodded. "You've got it!!!"

Mikoto and Natsu both ran at Asgawrath, gathering up all the strength they could muster at the moment..

And though Mikoto's body was currently in an exhausted state thanks to the battle against Ulquiorra that had happened before the Multiverse was destroyed, she continued to summon up more and more power.. she had to .. this was probably their only chance...

Mikoto punched Asgawrath rapidly with her lightning engulfed fists as Natsu colided with him from the side.. his blazing gauntletts moving at tremendous speeds.

"ENOUGH!!!" Asgawrath roared.. his body exploded with dark energy, blasting Natsu and Mikoto to the floor.. and he moved at Mikoto.. his arm turning into a spear of darkness. "We could have been together!! But now.. I will give you death as your final punishment!!!!"

The black spear made it only inches from Mikoto's chest before suddenly a sword was thrown from the entrance of the room, stabbing into Asgawrath's chest...

"RRRRRRAAHHH!!!" Asgawrath roared with pain and yanked the blade out, throwing it aside..

Erza Scarlet was standing in the entrance.. leaning against the wall.. sweating as she struggled to remain on her feet. "Stay away from her.. you monster.."

"DON'T INTERFERE!!!!" Asgawrath's once beautiful form began to morph as multiple dark terrifing eyes opened up all over his body and his body was covered in black shadows.. claws extending from his fingers... becoming like a beast..

Asgawrath let out a terrifying ethereal roar, as he soared at Erza.. his black terrible wings spread wide with malice.. But Mikoto intercepted Asgawrath in mid air with a Sword Horn of the Thunder Dragon.

The two exploded into the side of the room with a boom.. and Mikoto lashed her hand across her face summoning her Hollow mask as she began rapidly punching Asgawrath again..

"Don't you DARE.. TOUCH ERZA!!" Mikoto screamed as she continued her relentless blows..

"You ungrateful girl!!" Asgwrath's claws clenched around Mikoto's mask and shattered it.. he threw Mikoto into the wall by the face... and opened his mouth, letting out a tremendous stream of darkness at Mikoto who closed her wings over herself barely blocking the blast..

"IRON FIST OF THE FIRE DRAGON!!" Natsu launched himself at Asgawrath and landed a tremendous flaming blow into Asgawrath's head, ramming him into the ground... as this happened, Erza requipped into her Soaring Armor.. She zoomed forward, swinging her two swords in a blistering blur, stabbing her two blades into Asgawrath's shoulder blades..

And finally, Mikoto launched herself at Asgawrath, her two wings morphing into two giant lightning arms that smashed their electrical fists into Asgawrath's wings.. pinning him to the ground...

But there was an explosion of dark energy and Asgawrath erupted from the ground.. his dark power becoming absolutely indescribable.. as he began to heal...

Mikoto flew into floor with Erza and Natsu at her side.. as Asgaawrath exploded through the cieling of the room.. going into black moonlit skies of Hueco Mundo... and his voice ignited into all of Hueco Mundo..

"Come!!! MY SERVANTS!! MY ESPADA!!! HYDRA HEAD!! ALL MY SERVANTS TONIGHT WE JOURNEY TO THE WORLD OF THE LIVING.. AND WE SHALL GRANT THE HUMAN SCUM ONE LAST PARTING GIFT!!!!"

"No..." Mikoto groaned.. clutching her brooken arm as she rolled over to her back... and took a coin out of her pocket... the only thing... I'm letting you take....the only thing... only my Railgun.....only.."

Mikoto aimed the coin on her thumb at Asgawrath..in the center of the moon....

And she fired...

There was a sonic boom... and there was a roar of pain as Asgawrath's arm was blasted off..

Asgawrath looked down at Mikoto one last time.. "You dare.... Well then.. Stay here and rot in Hueco Mundo!! And know that you failed to save everyone.. Goodbye... RAILGUN!!"

A Gargantua opened up behind Asgawrath.. and he dissapeared into it.... off to destroy everything... one last time..
