Chapter 21 - Amunet Black

Sarah's P.O.V.

I was currently up at five in the morning and in a top and shorts. I was currently in the living room getting stuff ready for the baby. I was trying to make a crib which was hard to build, when I finsihed it fell apart, making a loud noise.

Sara?" I heard Barry calling me from upstairs.

Sorry, babe! Go back to sleep." I told Barry

When I heard no noise after that, I continued working on the crib. I was basically near my due date, surprising I know, I never knew babies grew up so fast in the stomach, so I thought it would be better to get the baby stuff done before doing it all near the birth

I then heard footsteps walking down the stairs.

"Sara?"

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Just one second. Let me just... Let me just do this for a sec.." I told my husband as I tried building the crib again.

Why... why are you still awake? What is all this?" Barry asked me.

I turned to Barry before turning to the crib. "Oh, you know, the baby's getting closer everyday and we haven't done anything for her yet. So that's what I'm doing."

Barry huffed. " Couldn't you do this in the morning?"

It is morning." I told Barry, who laughed at me. " Oh, and Iris told me that she dug up reports that she could find on DeVoe and she's gonna right an article about it."

Barry turned to me. "Really?"

Yeah." I answered Barry. " Exposing every single detail pf his maniacal plan. So, I was wondering if you could talk to her about it."

What? Why me?" Barry questioned

Because, you've known Iris longer than I have, and plus, you two are like brother and sister." I answered Barry

Fine." Barry sighed before pressing a kiss on my lips.

Caitlin's P.V.O.

I sighed as I sat in front of the computer, looking at Sarah's scans to see how the baby was going and let me tell you, that's it's not good.

Cisco walks into the med bay and saw me frowning. " What's wrong?"

I shook my head. " Nothing, I've been looking over at Sarah's scan for the baby."

Than why are you upset?"

The baby is most likely to die before its born." I answered, causing Cisco's eye to widen. " When DeVoe stuck that Icicle into her stomach, it actually damaged the sack, causing fluid to flood in."

Cisco sighed as he frowned. " Cait, this is Sara. we're talking about. If we told her that her baby was gonna die before she gives birth. She won't be the same Sara we know, it would crush her to death."

Sarah's P.O.V.

I was currently in the Cortex with everyone as my sister was explain about DeVoe's satellites

So last night, Harry, Cisco and I were up all night writing all the different algorithms we could think of involving the satellite tech that DeVoe stole." Caitlin informed us

We think DeVoe plans to position each of his five satellites at specifically calculated points around the globe." Cisco explained

I looked on the monitor and saw the satellite's around Earth.

And when the quantum computers in each satellite link up...."

He'll use that network to basically emit a series of dark matter bursts." Cisco finished off Caitlin sentences
