You were in your room, awaiting your husband to finally return home from doing a search around the nearby forest for poachers and 'taking care of them.' You grew bored as you swung your legs over the side of the bed, making your way to the closet to pull out an outfit, slipping off your pj's.
You slipped into a black, long sleeve shirt that hang off your shoulders, exposing them and the sleeves covered most of your hands, then slipped on a short, white jeans skirt. You wanted to look nice for him since it was your first day off of work in a long time, the overtime really paid off so your boss allowed you to take a few days off.
You didn't bother with socks and fixed your skirt so it extended to your mid-thighs, you hated skirts, scratch that you despised skirts. But since you did all that overtime to spend time with James you wore it since he liked that outfit.
You walked to the kitchen and began to make pancakes for James since he would be home soon, you wanted to just spend the day talking and being held in his arms.
"Kuma!! Damn it will you wait for me?!" You looked out the window to see said Canadian trudging through the snow to the porch and you smiled.
You heard the door unlock and as the door opened, in ran an excited gray wolf, better known as Kuma, taking sharp turns around the furniture to prance over to you, excited to be home and receive attention from his other owner. You loved wolves and when James first met you he was surprised you were unafraid of Kuma and embraced him with open arms instead of becoming scared and running away.
"Hello baby boy!" You cooed and kneeled down stroking Kuma's soft fur, him yipping and barking in happiness in response.
When you stood back up to take care of the pancakes, you were met by a Canadian's piercing violet eyes that you loved to gaze into.
"I smell pancakes and you're wearing the outfit I like on.... what's the occasion maple?" He smirked at you pecking your lips.
"Just did a boat ton of overtime so I could spend our anniversary together." You returned to the pancakes stacking one atop another, smiling at the nickname he calls you.
"You didn't have to-"
"Not a word! I did it of my free will, besides don't act like you don't miss spending time together just relaxing by the fireside like before we married!" You grinned at him and he just rolled his eyes at you.
"Stubborn as hell..." You pecked his cheek chuckling.
"But I'm doing this all for you baby so you can't exactly complain, nor protest since I have the week off."
"Lucky me, yay." He said in a playfully sarcastic tone, he just loved picking on you, since he thought the sight of you blushing was just the cutest thing ever.
"Sarcastic- you know what?! No pancakes for you!" You hid the plate of breakfast disks behind your back, earning a gasp of shock from the Canadian.
"No fair! Don't deprive me of my life source!" He tried to reach around you to grab the treat he was oh so in love with.
"Nope, Kuma and I will just eat them by ourselves, right baby boy?" You kept the pancakes out of reach and Kuma wagged his tail barking.
James growled in annoyance and gave you death glares demanding you to hand them over, you obviously refusing. You had your fair share of teases on the strawberry blonde and you regret very few of them since he has done some actions equally as bad as the revenge you always pulled.
"Damn it!! Hand them over __(y/n)__!!" He demanded.
"Going to have to work for it!" You teased, giving him a wink.
Suddenly he smirked sadistically and that sent chills up your spine, you loved his sadistic side but when you two were playing it meant he was about to pull a dirty trick.
"Very well then maple~" He purred into your ear.
He approached you, arms on either side of the kitchen counter behind you, keeping you trapped where you were under his preditorial gaze, his eyes gleaming with mischief and a tint of... lust perhaps? He crashed his lips into yours, the kiss being hungry and rough. You smiled into the kiss and when you let down your guard, he snatched the batch of steaming breakfast cakes from your hand.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk... I thought you learned by now... you can't outsmart this big bad wolf maple~"
"Oh shut it wolfie!" You laughed as he began to eat his pancakes, tossing a couple to Kuma.
"Oh come on now Little Red Riding Hood, don't look so upset. Not your fault you were nearly devoured by the big bad wolf!" He smirked and you pouted crossing your arms over your chest.
