A week until the wedding and I was worried. I don't know why I was, because it wasn't my wedding . But in the pit of stomach I knew why. The guys hadn't returned yet and I was worried they wouldn't make the wedding. Dad kept reminding me that everything was going to be great and I need to stop thinking about the little things.

I was sitting at my desk checking off the wedding list. When I heard a clearing of a throat sound that came from infront of me and I almost jumped out of my seat. I looked up and saw My favorite aunty standing infront of me.

"Aunt Maggie? What are you doing here?"

Aunt Maggie wasn't my aunt or related to me at all. She was my mum's bestfreind growing up. She was in my mum's wedding and took care of me when I was little. After Mum died, she took it hard and moved over seas to be a teacher or something.  Aunt Maggie was a Red head, tall, beautiful women, who was about 5  years younger then my Mum.  I had totally forgotten about her and letting her know about what has been going on. Seen she had left, I hadn't spoken to her in about 5 years.

We both laughed and gave each other a big hug. "Hi beautiful. It's been to long. I just moved back into the area and ran into your Dad and Martha about a week ago at Ikea.  I am so happy for them. I am glad your father has found someone that he loves."

"Wow. Why did you move back? I mean it's great that you have."

She patted my shoulder, "I got a job here and I met someone."

I was so shocked to here that. Aunt Maggie was the only women I had ever seen never dating, seeking out men or even talking about a guy. I was over the moon for her.

"Really? What is his name? Do we know him?"

"No you don't but he is a officer and has three kids. We met on a cruise ship about a year ago. I have been living with him for about six months now. All of his kids are grown and are about your age. two are married and the other is traveling for missians."

"Are you two planning to get married? Does Dad know him?"

We sat down at a table and was sipping our coffee, "Yes are planning to." She placed her hand on the table and I almost dropped my coffee. The rock that was on her finger was big.

"OH MY WORD! That is a rock."

Maggie laughed, "Yes and I was totally surprised when he gave it to me. It's been in his family for about 20 years. It was his great-grandmother's ring. But then he took the diamond and changed the setting of the ring to a style I liked. We are getting married in eighteen weeks.  Then traveling for six months around the world for our honeymoon. Stopping in key areas of the world. I want to invite you to the wedding. And wanted to see if you wanted to be part of the wedding? Your mother and I had always dreamed to be in each others weddings but she never could be in mine. So I want you to be my brides maid ?"

"Wow ok. I know Mum is so happy for you Maggie. I would love to be part of your wedding. I know Mum would want that."

Maggie started to cry, "Oh Cass thank you so much. I have really missed you." We gave each other big hugs again.

"So does Dad know him?"

"Yes sadly. I was hoping he wouldn't but he does. Captian John Parker. They served together for three years. We are having dinner with your Dad and Martha tomorrow."

I laughed , "Oh my word. You are getting married to Captian Parker? I know his daugter Abby . She works with my best freind in the cumputer labs at the port. Oh and did you here Jake is getting married to?"

Maggie started to laugh and couldn't stop, "What? No! My little Jakey is getting married? To who?"

I laughed when she said "my little Jakey. "  When Jake was younger, he had aked Maggie why she didn't have a boyfreind. She told him that she hadn't found her prince charming yet. So he decided that he would be.  Jake loved Maggie to death and would always look after her. So thats where the nickname came along to be "My little Jakey." Because he would tell everyone that he was hers always. it was so cute when he was little.
